Hello, I was wondering if anyone has the IC-705 working with CQRlog. I have it setup with Hamlib and have selected the 705, I am part of the dial out group. I am not sure what radio settings I need and how to tell what usb it’s using. I did use lsusb in terminal and can see the radio there listed as prolific ic705. Any help would be great. I am running Linus Mint XFCE 20.2
Early June I exported all QSOs for some months with marked "sent".
But I did not print and send. (mostly "B" marked)
Some days ago, I marked qsl_s blank to UA, and other QSOs "SB" from "B".
I found the date of marked "SB" remained as 2023-06-03. I supposed these qsls_date must be blank. But group edit did not permit blank.
Then I selected 1901-01-01 unavoidably.
I suppose this must be blank when select SB/SMB/SD/SMD etc. Maybe these will be changed when I export next time with marked "sent".
In Japan, the JA bureau puts callsigns into the 6 or 8 boxes of callsign for sorting, so I controll the csv for printing. After sorting callsign, I remove UA, but cqrlog's qsl_send remains "sent". These 6-box is also used for qsl_via.
By surface mail was temporarily valid to Russia under the COVID-19, but now ALL mail we cannot send to UA.
It would be nice if there was an option "exclude" item in the search window, but unfortunately there isn't.
Have you any ideas to exclude UA ?
I see that Alpha build 117 has capability of more than two rigs rigs in TRX control. This is great as I have 3 rigs that have CAT capability and it would be nice to not have to reset. I have never tried to install an Alpha build. Is this build safe? Can I use Sakus script to install it?

I cannot get my Elecraft K4 or K3 to connect to CQRlog since I did a fesh install of Mint 21.2 yesterday. Everything worked fine on 21.1. I am using a fresh install (of course) CQRlog V2.5.2. I am using an FTDI USB adapter with the K3 and the K4 a USB cable. My hamlib is v4.3.1-1build 2. I am in dialout and when I ran dmesg | grep FTDI it showed the converter connected and attached to ttyUSBx. My K4 does connect fine with CQRlog using IP address as device. I have used sudo modprobe to make sure the FTDI diver is attached properly. Rigctl is correct.
hello all, sorry I come back again on the clublog question, as advised I modified in etc/host adding the line 5.153.81.176 secure.clublog.org, it seems that it actually works, but looking at the clublog site under my log it seems that it has not been sent no information to my QSO , I state that my password and user are fine , at this point I no longer have an idea of what is happening .

Hi
For 2 days I have been trying to reply. I can upload as a new topic but not as a reply.
All seems fine, I enter the text, click to say I am not a robot and then click upload.
Timer appears, no errors but the timer disappears far too fast and my reply is not uploaded.
This is a reply to TS 570D HamLib 4.3.1
Thanks for all the replies. Here is where I have got to.
I still have the original problem but I am at least starting to track the problem down.
my user name is djcleckie on my Linux (Ubuntu 22.04 box)
Hi all, I have been using Cqrlog for many years and it has always worked great for me.
I had problems with live qso loading in clublog for a while, but I installed a few days ago the latest version, I think, num: 2.6.0 (116) and since then clublog has been working fine.
Now, however, I have another problem that has never happened to me before.
Radio is a TS 570D
Radio is setup for Baud 9600 1 stop bit. The default.
CAT control working OK on a PC running Logger32
To get CAT to work with a PC running Logger32 I need the following settings
8N1, 9600 baud
I also need CTS/RTS handshaking to be set on. Will not work without this set.
On Linux PC running Ubunu 22.04
Installed CQRLog 2.5.2
Initially all seemed fine but I cannot get CAT Control to work.
Hamlib version 4.3.1 is installed.
ls /dev/ttyUSB*
gives
/dev/ttyUSB0
Would you please consider adding support for QRZCQ.com callsign lookups to the CQRLog program?
Thanks.
Sorry for not positive question.
I compiled TQSL 2.6.5 from ARRL source to import p12 file.
I succeeded also to import and uploaded unintemtionally carelessly whole log over 35,000 QSOs. Maybe only not yet uploaded, I suppose.
But I tried "download from ARRL, and got a message ":1" is an invalid integer."
I converted the downloaded adif CRLR to LF.
But I could not find invalid that.
Is this caused by the file I uploaded ?
I been building a new shack computer, with updating all of the software; new OS (openSUSE Tumbleweed), updated KDE, WSJT-X, Hamlib, and finally a new CQRLOG. I haven't tried out all of the changes in 117, but one is really annoying. I received a batch of cards via Buro, and as usual sorted them by date to update the log. But each time I log a card, the log goes back to the top! Then I have to go back to the date in the log I'm working on, and find the next one.
Please restore the old behavior, and don't move the log cursor unless I ask to.
I have new installs of Ubuntu 22.04, CQRlog 2.5.2 (I think), wsjt-x 2.6.1, MariaDB 10.11.2, and hamlib 4.6. It appears that each of those function on their own, but do not play well together. Specifically, when in CQRlog I click "Remote mode for wsjt," wsjt does not start. The wsjt UDP Server is 127.0.0.1 and the UDP Server port number is 2237, as expected.
What have I forgotten to do?
Thanks for all suggestions.

I am running Ubuntu 22.04 and CQRlog 2.5.2, both new installs. When I open CQRlog, the small picture appears as expected, but after a few (10?) seconds, an error popup is displayed. The error is:
Error during connection to database: TMySQL57Connection : Server connect failed.
Then the "Database Problem" window from CQRlog appears, and suggests the FAQ (which did not help) and the urging to send you the final lines of the mysql.err file.
I look forward to your comments.
Thanks,

Version 2.6.0 build 117: Just noted today that the rig control buttons - PWR ON PWR OFF STNDBY are missing. I also can't find the checkbox to activate the user defined buttons either, under the Preferences---->TRX controls

I have looked all over and can't seem to find this answer. Is there a way to automatically populate the Operator field with the station callsign that is setup on the Station preferences tab?
Thanks!

I have managed to download, install, and work with Build 117. I was thinking of trying to change an log field but I haven't experimented with that as yet. At the same time, I downgraded from Hamlib 4.6 to Hamlib 4.5.5
Hello all.
This is Jim W1JT from the Eastern MA area. I'm coming from HRD's logbook and I'm in the process of getting accustomed to CQRLOG.
When I'm on HRD's logbook and my QRZ credentials are entered in, when I go to log a contact I'm able to see the name, city, and state. So when I put W1JT into I see my name, Holbrook and MA.
When I do the same on CQRLOG (with my QRZ credentials entered in just like HRD) I get my name but that's about it. It doesn't go to the level of city and state like HRD does.
Question: if building from source, could I change a field in CQRlog to something else? I have used "Award" to record "Park to Park" contacts for WWFF. I would like to change the label to appear as P2P and the field it produces SIG_INFO. If I changed every instances of 'Award' to 'P2P' and every instance of 'AWARD' to 'SIG_INFO' in the source code, would I accomplish this, or would I break CQRlog and prevent it from compiling?

I am running a new install of Ubuntu 22.04. Previously I had CQRlog running with mysql on Ubuntu 20.4. The new install has made all previous Ubuntu directories invisible or erased.
Since some time the size and position of some windows are not stored - after reopen CQRlog some windows have the wrong size and/or position (e.g. New QSO window, QSO list, DXCluster).
The config files 1cqrlog.cfg and cqrlog.cfg are only existing if the program is running.
I use Ubuntu 23.04 and CQRlog 2.6.0 (001) Gtk2.
Any ideas?

Hi!
A word of warning for those who use Hamlib keyer.
While testing today filter settings, message https://www.cqrlog.com/node/3598 I upgraded my Hamlib to latest version available today.
After test was over I decided to call CQ on 6m CW. Just to notice that memory keys did send corrupted CQ message.
As only Hamlib was changed I returned back to previous Hamlib version and found out that memory sending works again normally.
A little detail but annoying. Changing bands with CQRLOG results in the filter always switching to #1 on the IC-7300. I've adjusted settings in the preferences but no change. Read somewhere that -1 would disable any switching but no. Using Kubuntu 22.04, CQRLOG 2.5.2(001), and hamlib 4.5.5 the latest stable version. Thought that installing latest hamlib would do the trick. Thanks for suggestions, Colin... VE1CSM
