Hi everybody,
I'm just wondering if there is a way to build a kind of a master log for contests.
Background: When I want to take part in a contest I have to create a new log for that one. Doing so I have to setup all the settings I had before. Including rig, name, address, and so on......
I would like to do that only once and when the time comes for the next contest just copy from the master. Just like "open -> save as"
Is there any way to do that?

Hello CQRLOG,
yesterday I had a short FT8 QSO on 10m with BD7BS. QSO was fine.
(QRZ.com-Link: https://www.qrz.com/db/BD7BS)
I tried to log this QSO and CQRLOG ended up in an error / warning:
"TMySQL57Connection: Error executing query: Incorrect value:
'\xE5' for column 'cqrlog001'.'cqrlog_main'.'state' at row 1
Press OK to ignore...
Press Abort to kill program."
Zhang Hong Gang seems to use special chinese characters at his qrz.com site.
I enabled to use qrz.com-data when logging a qso.
I'm using the latest version of cqrlog (2.6.0_119_gtk2).
As always, logging works great.
There is one problem:
When I'm downloading EQSL and LotW confirmations, I started getting the error messages that "x QSOs were not found in your log".
This number x keeps rising fast with every day I'm making QSOs.
I investigated and all the QSOs that CQRLOG "does not find" are actually in my log. Each of the records in the error file has the line "Qso_was_not_found_in_log!"
Hi all
This time the solution to remove MASTER.SCP has not worked for me. Two times removed and a new file is created but the program does not initialize.
I am looking for another solution.

HRDLog: Could not delete original QSO data!
Assumed that R120T has not been uploaded to Clublog (due to Internet connection failure, I suppose) I can I set this record to be uploaded again?

I am running mint 21.1. I am using CQRLOG 2.6.0 (001) Gtk2. I have been using this for a while. Went to update or even create a QTH profile and do not have any way to save. The button at the bottom of the open window is not there. I do have a screen shot but do not see a way to attach.

I've been using CQRLOG for a couple of years and never really had a problem until now. I am getting an access violation when I try to open CQRlog 2.5.2. I saw where people were recommending deleting ~/.config/cqrlog/MASTER.SCP. I am on OpenSUSE LEap 15.5, and I couldn't find a ~/.config/cqrlog directory. I did find MASTER.SCP in another directory and deleted it, and it didn't solve the problem.
I am trying to get cwdaemon working.
I am configuring it with this command: cwdaemon -d ttyUSB0 -p 6789 -x n
My device is a USB-to-DB9 adapter like this: https://xggcomms.com/userimages/FT-Cable-5-USB.jpg
When I try to run a CW macro, my digital multimeter does not show any voltage on the DTR pin.
Any ideas? Thanks.
Hi
I'm currently running a Debian distribution and would like to install CRQLOG. However, I prefer not to install MySQL/MariaDB locally as my database is hosted on an external server. Is it possible to achieve this configuration?

Hi!
I have had an issue appearing every now and then in the recent ver 2.5.2 but also in earlier releases, Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04, on different machines.
If I open the log window and put CTRL-F and search for a call sign or partial call sign it sometimes happens that the search window goes blank and it is not possible to get out of this state without killing the program. Its not possible to click oneself out of it. CQRLOG starts up nicely again and all seems fine.
Could someone give detail on how to export the log to submit for the contest?
I worked stations using the contest window with the ARRL 10 contest selected. Where I am stuck is how to I create the file to export for the upload.
I am not a contester but ran enough I felt I should up load for those I worked.
Thanks!
Jon
Hi
I just installed Debian 12 (bookworm) and CQRLOG terminates. I ran cqrlog --debug=1 and this is the output:
Hi!
There is nice small contest called MWC held on every Monday 1630 to 1729 UTC 40&80M CW.
Timing is nice (for Europe) and it takes only on hour.
With wire antennas, 100W and latitude over 62N you can not be on top of the list, but you can try to collect all multipliers instead within one hour. Interesting.
Multipliers are the last letter of callsign ( or number).
Cqrlog supports that contest and you can get contest status while working and create Cabrillo log for sending to web page within minute after contest end.

I using the last beta (120) and run fine, but today the eqsl page has some problems and not work. I try to go with navigator and have a time out.
When I try to send new contacts cqrlog just wait... and wait, and finally only option is stop the software.
Is possible to add some timeout to hande this issue?
Maybe eqsl not fail never more, but...

In case you can compile the program, here is a fix for the problem. In module dData.pas, function TdmData.LoadMasterSCP change the line
if i>80000 then
SetLength(aSCP,100000)
to
if i>80000 then
SetLength(aSCP,200000)
There may be a better solution, so I'm waiting to get the official fix from the developers. But this did the job for me.

I think this issue has been addressed before, but can't seem to find any definitive resolution to the problem.
The problem is as follows:
Cqrlog starts and operates normally. When there is user interaction, cqrlog remains functional. If cqrlog is left for a short period of time with no user input, then cqrlog hangs and requires a forcible shutdown (kill) to close it.
On occasion, cqrlog will also cause the remote database server to hang. Restarting the service (systemctl restart mysql.service) will restore the database to working condition.

Hello,
I casually participate in contests, but I especially miss these two functions:
1) It should be possible to cancel the currently keyed CW message with e.g. the Esc button. The help file says that this should work anyway: "1x ESC returns cursor back to Call-field [...] It also halts CW memory output if it is just running." But the latter is not or no longer the case. I'm using CQRLOG 2.5.2 from Ubuntu 23.10 and control my rig using hamlib.
