A feature I found very convenient on another logger (which shall not be named) is the ability to exclude DX Cluster spots on the low bands (160, 80, 40 m) during the users's local daytime. These spots would generally not be workable as DX during that time and instead simply clutter up the DXCluster window unnecessarily.

Hi all,
I use CQRLOG with my Xiegu G90 and everything works except the CAT control of the frequency CQRLOG>G90. I can change band, mode, but not frequency. I read that it should be enough to click on the frequency and rotate the mouse wheel, but nothing happens. The version is 2.5.2
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks a lot
Stefano
Hello,
I am running Cqrlog Ver:2.5.2 (001) Date:2021-02-12 and Hamlib 4.5.4 Jan 10 01:31:41Z 2023 with a Yaesu FTdx3000. CQRLog rig preferences are set to rig 1037 for the 3000. Communication is established as I get radio frequency populated in the new QSO window. The problem is the mode does not populate correctly when Auto is checked. Debugging indicates the CQRLog is requesting "fmv" for frequency, mode and VFO. The radio returns this alternating:
Sending: fmv
Msg from rig: 14270000
Msg from rig: USB
2400
Msg from rig: Main
Sending: fmv
Moin,
I updated my linux box from Ubuntu 22.04 to 24.04. Bur cqrlog won't start any longer. There is a problem with the database, but the directory ~/.config/cqrlog/ looks good so far.
Running Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS
Tried to install cqrlog, but it conflicted with existing (unused) mysqld already running.
Removed mysql-server, then did:
Hi,
today I updated to 134 Gtk2 as described on Github README-Page.
Everything worked fine and CQRLog looks working fine too.
But:
When I click on "Open log" a error message pops up telling me
Database upgrade crashed with this error:
TMySQL57Connection : Error executing query: Cannot add or update a child row: a foreign key constraint fails (`cqrlog001`.`upload_status`, CONSTRAINT `upload_status_ibfk_1` FOREIGN KEY (`id_log_changes`) REFERENCES `log_changes` (`id`) ON DELETE SET NULL)
Hello,
I am new to CQRLOG and using alpha version 134 GTK2 on Linux Mint 22. I notice the statistics at the bottom of the logging panel do not update to reflect the current QSL status. For example, I worked a VE3 station on 80m, many VE stations on 80m actually. My VE statistics on QSO entry page shows SSB, CW and DIGI all as QSL x on 3.5 even though I have LOTW confirmations and the QSO list shows this confirmation and the DXCC statistics report also shows all these as L, confirmed.
I see from earlier forum posts that users cannot change the DXCC country from the Edit QSO window. Will a DXCC feature be added to the next release? Is there a way to force a given entity on a call sign-by-call sign basis? I am running V 2.5.2 (001). Is the DXCC edit available now in a beta release?
I worked 3Y0X (Peter 1 Is.) in 2005. Upon importing my log to CQRlog the DXCC country for this QSO was ambiguous. I don't feel confident to make the change in SQL. Thanks for any new info.

<p>I am using CQRlog 2.5.2 (001) on a Linux Mint machine. I am testing importing ADIF files from my DXLab DXKeeper application. I am finding the DXCC CFM total presented on the CQRlog QSO List window is much lower in value than what I expected. I discovered that the QSL_R and QSL_S fields do not seem to be populating correctly.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>For example, here is one of the ADIF records I imported from DXKeeper:</p>
<p> </p>
Simple question: I am familiarizing myself with CQRlog using a test import file. How can I select a consecutive range of QSOs in the QSO List Window (other than selecting each record one-by-one)? I want to make a group edit on the entire list. I'm sure there is a way to do this. Thanks!
(Sorry - I repeated my question as a new topic)
Hallo.
I have a small problem and I don't know if it is possible to solve it.
Hello CQRLOG-Community!
I am using CQRLOG for many years, now i updated my Laptop to Ubuntu 24.04.
Importing my preferences and Log worked perfectly, but I am running into an issue which occured first when I entered the QSO-List. Moving the column widths freezes the program, after a short while the screen turns black, after a few seconds I can continue using the program.
The same occured in the mail window, even when I try to move the window or scroll through the entries of the list.

Hello Saku,
For the new version in case of need :
When selected filters as Red color as new qso needed and Yellow line as users of LoTW ( i.e), it's works when you open the DXCluster window / Select / Connect and wait the Cluster data one by one.
When you send command "SH/DX/10" i.e, all 10 qso are comming in the same time and without filters colors.
Somethings to do ? Not very important but it can help when using sh/dx/30 on Preferences CQRLOG command.
Best regards and 73

CQRLOG 2.5.2 (001)
Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS
I only have IPv6 Connectivity, and I am unable to upload to LoTW using CQRLOG.
I've installed from zero Linux ( Mint 22 Wilma base: Ubuntu 24.04 noble) in my computer.
Reinstalling my ham programs all went ok, then installed CQRlog (via Software Manager, mintinstall) which was fine, but when I ran it, popped up an error related to mysql database.
Tried to reinstall it from a terminal window (sudo apt install cqrlog), ... "nothing to install because CQRlog is at it most recent version". But the error still popped up.
got the following error:
joe@joe-Inspiron-620:~$ sudo apt-get install mariadb-client-10.3 mariadb-server-10.3 libmariadb3 libssl-dev
[sudo] password for joe:
Reading package lists... Done

libssl-dev is already the newest version (1.1.1f-1ubuntu2.23).
libmariadb3 is already the newest version (1:10.3.39-0ubuntu0.20.04.2).
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
libevent-core-2.1-7 libevent-pthreads-2.1-7 libmecab2 mecab-ipadic
Hi,
I have a problem with two windows that they never 'remember' their size or position on the screen if I close the logger. The issue only affects the DXCluster's and Propagation's windows. Before logger closing everything is ok and restoring these windows works completely fine. All other windows work properly and return to the screen to the correct place and size.
I would appreciate yours suggestions to fix this.
Ubuntu 24.04
CQRLog Ver. Alpha_(132)_Gtk2
On Alfa_(131) was the same problem.
Slav,
I would greatly appreciate help getting connected to my Yaesu. It connects and runs fine with wsjtx. It seems both have the same configurations. Attached is the config page.
Dears,
When I select any Spot from Cluster or BandMap the equipment goes to the frecquency but allways FIL1 and RTTY mode, instead not is the case.
Any advice that what config I need to change?
Thanks

Dear Team,
The QRZ Logbook has become the Amazon of database storage. How can you escape it and hope to grow your user base. I was on Windoze using HRD and it sweetly uploads to QRZ. Not only this I get many many confirms which leads me to believe its well used by other hams.
I justed installed Ubuntu for the XXX time. I love the screen fonts. However, I keep getting gotchas: 1) ftdx101d does not connect to cqrlog even though it does to fljtx, 2) i can no longer add qrz contact info on the fly. I was hoping you had gotten past the annoyance.
Iḿ running CQRlLog 2.5.2 on a raspberry pi (pi-400). Iḿ using the newest version of Raspian (based on Debian 12). Recently (within the last two weeks), Ive gotten an Äccess Violation' message with every QSO I attempt to save.
I have tried deleting the MASTER.SCP file to no avail.
My debug is shown below. It appears as though Iḿ having trouble connecting to the database.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,

Made a script that installs official version 2.5.2 of Cqrlog to Ubuntu 22.04 without using installation packet that wrongly installs Mysql instead of needed MariaDB.
Script installs first needed dependencies (as packets) and then installs Cqrlog from cqrlog.com/Download /cqrlog_2.5.2_amd64.tar.gz
By installed this way system updates can not roll over this install as it does not show up in installed packets list.
Script can also update installed official version right away to latest CqrlogAlpha (unofficial version) if user wants so.
I have just been signing in under my previous call sign. A couple of years ago, I finally decided to get a U.S. Vanity call sign before the FCC started leveeing the $35 fee. The call sign is my late father's call sign, W5OXL. It is much easier to use for CW than WD5HHH (which has 19 dits in a row). I so far have found there is no way to do this. I tried to create a new account but the email address would be the same and the website refused to let me do it. What can be done?
