Hi,
I can not find a possibilty to enter the Rx freqency when creating a log entry. This would be desirable for QSO's running over a repeater.

I would like to see a remote for js8call to make it easier for logging
I was using Ubuntu 23.04 (testing) and CQRlog 2.6.0 (107) and the upload to Clublog and HRdlog was working.
But.... sometimes, CQRlog deleted some QSOs and upload again. The last QSOs always, and dont upload again.
I needed to upload manual again, when this hapenning.
Yesterday, I install Debian testing, and now I had the messages that upload is OK, but dont upload nothing to Clublog and HRDlog again.
Using also 2.6.0 (107)
This diferences between distros make me crazy. lol
Hi all,
First of all: 'All the Best for the new year'
I was unable for month to run new installations of CQRLOG on Raspi 64bit and my new laptop - keeping my old laptop with running CQRLOG 2.4.0 was the only solution.
I connect to a Synology Disk Station where the database is running under MariaDB10.
Since trying to upgrade to CQRLOG 2.5 things messed up - mostly with 'TMySQL57Connection:Server connection failed' message.
Not a Bug, more a Question.
Running 2.6.0 Testing.
Where can I change the Color of the Distance Line in the Grayline Window?
It was a thick yellow line but now it is a thin black line and hard to notice.

I joined about six years ago as W6JHB. A year or so ago I moved to Idaho and changed my call to K7TXA. While I can log in with my old call, I'd prefer to use the "real" one. I don't see any way to change my userid to K7TXA. So, I tried to create a new account with that call, using my ARRL forwarding address: k7txa@arrl.net
Well, that didn't go very well, as I get a message saying CQRLOG can't send me email - contact the site admin. Unfortunately, nowhere do I see where I can do that.
Any help would be appreciated.

A few days back downloading from LOTW became impossible. Once there was a very slow download but it did not complete. Here is the error message:
Connected to LoTW server
Downloading...
NOT logged
Error: 104
Error: Connection reset by peer
Error: ssl_openssl
Any suggestions are appreciated, Colin...
I just installed CQRlog and am getting an error message upon running the program. I need help as I am new to Ubuntu.
Using version 2.6.0
This is really strange. On 29 Dec. the automatic upload to Clublog function was working properly. Today (2 Jan) I get the message "Upload failed, check internet connection." The internet connection is fine -- I can ping Clublog and I can export a file and upload it manually. It's just the automatic function that doesn't work.
Do others have this problem? Perhaps Clublog has changed something?

Never mind, I found the discussion of this in the Bugs section. I changed the source as described there and recompiled it. Now it works again!
I can't reply to the clublog upload thread, so I apologize for the duplicate.
Bandaid fix
If you're uncomfortable with building CQRLOG from source, append this to your /etc/hosts file as a workaround. aliasing secure.clublog.org to clublog.org works for me and should work for you as well until new packages get built:
5.153.81.176 secure.clublog.org clublog.org
NOTE: I *do not know* if clublog has a dynamic IP that may change over time. This IP is correct as of the time of writing though. (31 Dec 2022)

Are there plans to update the CQRLOG repository so that it can be used with Ubuntu 22.04 ("jammy")? Trying to use it currently produces the dreaded "Repository does not have a release file" error message.
Thanks.

Can qth.com be added as an option OR can hamqth be updated?
QRZ only fills the name so not much use. Ham Qth information is often old and incorrect.
At least this is my experience.
Any suggestions?

Oh I did update myself on ham qth so it is correct.
What happened to the search in the forums? seems to have been eliminated in the recent version of CQRlog website. Merry Christmas.
Hi to All!
Is here anybody using CQRLog with the MFJ-495 MEMORY KEYER?
I've read something in the documentation about CW interface built in CQRLog but I've found no information about connecting this keyer... Now I'm using it with Cutecom (a standard software for communicating over RS-232)... But I would like to use it directly in CQRLog: it would be the same replacing the device "/dev/cwkeyer" of the image with the right device (i.e. /dev/ttyS0...)?
Any advice is really welcome...
Many thanks in advance

Hello
I'm not sure if this is useful information, but something that I found interesting. This could be a purely local issue, but since I'm running a GIT pull I thought I'd mention it just in case.
I'm running cqrlog Ver:2.6.0 (001) Gtk2 Date:2022-07-05 compiled locally. My local system is Debian Bullseye, fully up to date. I run one copy of cqrlog on my FT8 computer, and another on my my main computer where the database is. Both copies showed the same behavior.
I have no CW-interface installed or defined.
Somehow during startup the CW-keyer popup telling me that I have no interface defined.
Looks to me I triggered to make the CW-keyer interface keep popping up while I have nothing configured.
No idea how this happened, but I can't turn it off. The F12 function keeps comming at every start.
This is a bug, as it is telling me there is no interface, I know, but can't turn it off.
I would like to install v. 2.6.0 om Endeavouros (Arch-based). Does anyone know if there is a binary available for it? Or even a script to make it?

Hello everybody,
I have uploaded the 104 release of CQRLog, and when the file is copied in directoris, it's impossible to launch CQRLog...
I use Ubuntu 20.04.
Thanks.
Geoffory, ON6GMT.
I would like to see an additional CW macro for the received contest message. Something like %xmr - contest exchange message received.
Sometimes it is nice to say thank you for the message received without reaching for the paddles.
Hi,
in CQRLog there is under "Preferences, Membership" the possibility to define 5 club memberships from a variety of possibilities.
My question is, what is the intention behind this? Is this an important feature of CQRLog that is often used? How would a user of this functionality deal with it?
