Using version 2.6.0
This is really strange. On 29 Dec. the automatic upload to Clublog function was working properly. Today (2 Jan) I get the message "Upload failed, check internet connection." The internet connection is fine -- I can ping Clublog and I can export a file and upload it manually. It's just the automatic function that doesn't work.
Do others have this problem? Perhaps Clublog has changed something?

Never mind, I found the discussion of this in the Bugs section. I changed the source as described there and recompiled it. Now it works again!

I can't reply to the clublog upload thread, so I apologize for the duplicate.
Bandaid fix
If you're uncomfortable with building CQRLOG from source, append this to your /etc/hosts file as a workaround. aliasing secure.clublog.org to clublog.org works for me and should work for you as well until new packages get built:
5.153.81.176 secure.clublog.org clublog.org
NOTE: I *do not know* if clublog has a dynamic IP that may change over time. This IP is correct as of the time of writing though. (31 Dec 2022)

Are there plans to update the CQRLOG repository so that it can be used with Ubuntu 22.04 ("jammy")? Trying to use it currently produces the dreaded "Repository does not have a release file" error message.
Thanks.

Can qth.com be added as an option OR can hamqth be updated?
QRZ only fills the name so not much use. Ham Qth information is often old and incorrect.
At least this is my experience.
Any suggestions?

Oh I did update myself on ham qth so it is correct.
What happened to the search in the forums? seems to have been eliminated in the recent version of CQRlog website. Merry Christmas.
Hi to All!
Is here anybody using CQRLog with the MFJ-495 MEMORY KEYER?
I've read something in the documentation about CW interface built in CQRLog but I've found no information about connecting this keyer... Now I'm using it with Cutecom (a standard software for communicating over RS-232)... But I would like to use it directly in CQRLog: it would be the same replacing the device "/dev/cwkeyer" of the image with the right device (i.e. /dev/ttyS0...)?
Any advice is really welcome...
Many thanks in advance

Hello
I'm not sure if this is useful information, but something that I found interesting. This could be a purely local issue, but since I'm running a GIT pull I thought I'd mention it just in case.
I'm running cqrlog Ver:2.6.0 (001) Gtk2 Date:2022-07-05 compiled locally. My local system is Debian Bullseye, fully up to date. I run one copy of cqrlog on my FT8 computer, and another on my my main computer where the database is. Both copies showed the same behavior.
I have no CW-interface installed or defined.
Somehow during startup the CW-keyer popup telling me that I have no interface defined.
Looks to me I triggered to make the CW-keyer interface keep popping up while I have nothing configured.
No idea how this happened, but I can't turn it off. The F12 function keeps comming at every start.
This is a bug, as it is telling me there is no interface, I know, but can't turn it off.
I would like to install v. 2.6.0 om Endeavouros (Arch-based). Does anyone know if there is a binary available for it? Or even a script to make it?

Here's my config:

Hello everybody,
I have uploaded the 104 release of CQRLog, and when the file is copied in directoris, it's impossible to launch CQRLog...
I use Ubuntu 20.04.
Thanks.
Geoffory, ON6GMT.
I would like to see an additional CW macro for the received contest message. Something like %xmr - contest exchange message received.
Sometimes it is nice to say thank you for the message received without reaching for the paddles.
Hi,
in CQRLog there is under "Preferences, Membership" the possibility to define 5 club memberships from a variety of possibilities.
My question is, what is the intention behind this? Is this an important feature of CQRLog that is often used? How would a user of this functionality deal with it?

Yes, CQRLOG does this, but at preset I' using either an ADIF export to spreadsheet or my clumsy SQL.
Here's the problem: Our DX club has an annual competition to see who has the most "New Band Countries" for the year.
A "New Band Country" must be:
A new DXCC entity contact this year, on a new Band.
but NOT a DXCC entity logged on this Band before the contest year.
This is a filtering job that is done by lesser logging apps, so I feel sure that there has to be a simple way of doing it with CQRLOG.
How best to do?

Maybe old news here, but i was sad to see my little propagation graphic disappear.
Not to worry, as there seems a simple fix at https://z34pec.blogspot.com/2022/07/cqrlog-and-blank-propagation-page-af... I. have no idea if this little problem is common or just this v2.5.1
Everything works now, and i've been experimenting with the various variants suggested in the Propagation tab of Preferences. Fun and useful.
I cannot get the QSO not found window to appear when downloading from LOTW. I get the warning window that says there are QSOs not found but when I click YES to see them the window does not appear.
Any help?

Dear all,
I recently had to start a new log to resolve a problem with uploading to clublog and hrdlog.
Downloaded the log to .adi -> create new log -> import .adi. Setting up all the other stuff.
So far, so good. It uploads now correctly to both online logs.
I am trying to migrate from a raspberry pi 4 64 bit running Ubuntu 22.04 to an amd64 also running Ubuntu 22.04. I copy the ~/.config/cqrlog folder from one machine to the other. When i attempt to start CQRLOG I get the Access Denied message. Both Abort and OK close the program. I have migrated CQRLOG several times before with no issues. Any idea what the problem could be?

Hello all!
I would like to ask for a general review and eventually update of the logs transfer functionality and performance to remote logging sites.
This is a "general request" but most in particular it is directed to HRDLOG specific management which so far result the worse of the ones available, since such transfers gets not available with highest occurrence.
You can understood better what I mean by reading a brief example below of the error message:
Hello,
I am not sure if you are the right address for this question, but since I use CQRLOG dearly, maybe you could help me out with it.
I have a cw contest coming and I wanted to make and use a keyer. cwdaemon looked the simplest. Since i don't have a classical serial port i used a FT232 chip module for usb-rs232. However, cwdaemon is not working with it it says no valid device /dev/ttyUSB1. and there is so little information online about cwdaemon.
Is there any other solution to use with cqrlog with a simple circuit or something else.
Has anyone tried running CQRLOG with JTDX and JTAlert?
I have JTAlert and JTDX working using UDP 127.0.0.1
CQRLOG is on a different computer at 192.168.4.40 and JTALert/ JTDX is on 192.168.4.26

After starting CQRLog I get an exception. I can choose a log and it displays normally then freezes.
So far:
Installed the Linux Mint (Ubuntu) version of CQRLog
I have installed mariadb-server over mysql
Reinstalled CQRLog
Reinstalled mariadb-server
Below is the debug output from CQRLog

I just imported a bunch of records from an adif file and certain fields like name, qth, state, loc, etc... are not populated (and weren't from the other logger). Is there a way to get cqrlog to populate these blank fields from say, HamQTH.com? I know it does this when records are manually entered, but can it do it after an import? If so, how?
Searching the forum, docs and google have not yielded anything for me yet. This seems like it would be an obvious need so I'm surprised I have not found it yet.
Thanks!
