I now have everything working properly using CQRLOG, except for SLOW response with only one thing. When I select a packet spot with my mouse by using either the Band Map window, or by selecting directly on the DXCluster window, the main logging window information updates immediately with all the correct information from the DX spot. All fields auto populate correctly as well. The only thing is, it takes anywhere from between 30 seconds to a minute and a half for the radio to update, change band, mode and frequency.

Using CQRLOG, I've got everything working properly, except for the xplanet utility program.
The program loads at CQRLOG startup and the packet spots populate correctly in the packet window and on the band map window and even on the xplanet globe. The only problem is that the entire globe of the earth is solid white. The spots show up at the correct locations and do update as new spots come in, but the map of the world is missing.

Any thoughts?

This is perhaps one of the best linux software out there for any ham radio user. I have been successfully using it in my shack for the last 3 years in Ubuntu.
I have been exploring the use of a portable system using a raspberry pi 2. I attempted to use Laci's download of 1.9.0 and everything seems to have installed correctly with all of it's dependencies
Hi Petr,
Recently the 60 meter band is officially legal to use in The Netherlands.
5.350 - 5.450 continuously with 100 watt PEP.
Since I have an older radio, TS-850, It's pretty labor intensive to go to that band.
I have my radio hooked up to the computer and would like to see the 60 meter-band in the TRX Control window. That way I could easily change, by one mouseclick, to that band.
Maybe this is already possible but i was unable to find it.
Thanks in advance,
Tjalling PA3GOS
Hello,
Is there a way to look up a callsign from fldigi that is logged in CQRLog?
For example, I'm using fldigi for psk31 contacts, but save the qso in CQRLog. I'd like to be able to see in fldigi if I have worked the station before or not.
Any ideas?!

I click CW type window, nothing happens, Mint 17.2, CQRlog 1.9.1
FX window works fine. TU Tom
I'm new to CQRLOG and really think Petr has designed and built a wonderful program that I along with many, many others are very grateful for. Job well done. But have discovered something that really irritates me.
The default date format for log entry is YYYY/DD/MM. This is exactly the opposite of what we use here in the USA. Our standard format is, MM/DD/YYYY. While entering new contacts in my CQRLOG file, I have made a few mistakes and find I have to double check every single entry to make sure I'm entering the date format as CQRLOG wants. It's very time consuming for me.
I'm very new to Linux and CQRLOG.
I was having no luck getting the PC to key my rig on CW. Now I've got it working. Here's what I did to key my FT-1000D.
New to CQRLOG and Linux.
CQRLOG version 1.9.1
Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon
After importing over 16k QSO's into CQRLOG in ADIF format, all log entries imported with only 4 errors. That's pretty darn good in my book. CQRLOG shows that I now have all the contacts in my log file, and I can search for any QSO and the program returns the information without a problem.
Hi,
I am VERY new to Linux and this logging program as well. What I see using CQRLOG so far, has me blown away with all the functionality, performance and screen layout. It seems to be just what I am looking for, to get away from Windows - once and for all.
For many years, I have used DX4WIN on my windows machine without any problems.
hello.. have now running ubuntu 16.04 (alpha).. after install cqr-log and start normally the menu-itmes cant see :-)... only by the cqr-log is this. do you have a idea ????

I was wondering if you can add the ability to have multiple DX cluster sources instead of having just a single source?

Hi,
I cannot figure out what the colors in the cluster window mean.
I know red text is new country.
But what about green/blue/white background color?
Maybe it's documented somewhere, but I did not find it.
Any hint appreciated.

Hi Petr,
through an error message of a Python script, I found the following entry in an ADIF file exported from CQRLOG:
"... <NOTES:61>DLFF-024, Biosphäre Flusslandschaft Elbe, bei Dessau-Roßlau<ITUZ:2>28 ..."
In the text string, the character "ä" and "ß" are included.
NOTES-Fieldlength is 61 but there are only 59 characters in the string.
Is that correct, or is it a bug?

After long time, there is new testing version available to download from http://www.cqrlog.com/files/beta/cqrlog_20160126.tar.gz
CHANGELOG:
I have the latest version, 1.9.1-4. all is great, 100% so far, who ever did the interface for JT65/9 did a great job, works fantastic, maybe they can do the same for Fldigi, Thanks for the great software, really enjoying it. 73
Ok after 2 days of trying to figure out how to install I give up. There are WAY too many variables for a newbie to Linux. I've managed to install Ubuntu onto my Chromebook and downloaded the CQRLOG files, but can't seem to get any farther than that. I got this Chromebook just to run CQRLOG. I'm not sure specifically what MySQL file to download etc. Anyone reading this who might be able to call me and walk me through it would be much appreciated.

Hello!
Is it possible to use a different time format?
As I can see, the only one is year\month\day, this cause me some problem :)
It would be nice for me, use the format day\month\year...

I would like to use the benefits of RBN, but I don't know how to get my rig to send CQ.
I have full rig control of my IC706MkIIG with CQRLOG.
I can go to Preferences>CW Interface and put HamLib in the Interface Type. (I think HamLib is installed in Ubuntu, but I am not sure).
I can then go to File>CW Messages where I see that F1 is set up to do a CQ.
When I press F1 the rig does not transmit and send CQ.
What am I missing here?
Thank you.
Wes AI4FH.
Hi,
I did a logging program in Python which is optimized for very quick entering QSL or Logbook(written) data - I made up to 400 Q´s per hour typing the logbook data from written log´s. Very simple and effective.
Today the Data are transferred via IP to DXkeeper as an ADIF string and stored into the DXkeeper database. That is a real advantage and my small SW can be used on Arduino or ...
Maybe such a feature can be done in CQRlog? A small Server listening on e.g. 127.0.0.1:52001 for connection and update the CQRlog DB with such ADIF strings with a client sent?
Uploading to HamQTH has been working just fine last week and now I am receiving this error message. any help would be appreciated.
"HamQTH: When uploading a QSO, at least qso_date, time_on, call, band and mode fields must be specified!"
