Hello Petr, I just started CQRlog , and a "nice to have" item for the wishlist poped into my head.
Could you make the prefered DX-Cluster "auto-connect at startup" with a checkbox ?Connecting the DX-cluster is always the 1st thing i do, and it seems a bit of a useless thing to....I would be very happy if my lazyness would lead to an autoconnect at startup.

I am a newbie with Linux, so this may be a stupid question, but I'm lost. When I try to launch CQRLOG, here is what happens:
sudo cqrlog
[sudo] password for fred:

**** CHANGE WITH --debug=1 PARAMETER ****
IniFile:/home/fred/.config/cqrlog/cqrlog.cfg

Just reinstalled Ubuntu 14.04. Dumping Windows 10. Installed CQRlog 1.9.0.
Added myself to the dialout group.
Rebooted.
I cannot get a connection to radio with id 129 or 132.
Please help?

Hi,
If I leave cqrlog (1.9.0 on 32bit Fedora/Intel) connected to dx cluster (VE7CC), the program crashes usually within two hours. I left it running with debugging enabled and this is what I see at the end of the output:
DX de UA4M-#: 3507.0 R5WW CW 29 dB 23 WPM CQ 2011Z
Enter critical section On Receive
Leave critical section On Receive
DX de AC0C-#: 14052.0 N1DN CW 05 dB 15 WPM CQ 2011Z

For years I've run gentoo but decided to change to ubuntu. I used rsync to copy my home directory to another linux machine, then changed to ubuntu. The change went smoothly in all regards but one. After installing cqrlog, my old log info is still there (yay!) and I can upload qsos to eQSL.
The problem is that I can't upload my qsos to LotW. LotW (i.e., trustedqsl) is installed, but trying a LotW upload yields a pop up saying:
"Database Error: BDB0087 DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run recovery
Hi Petr, when logging a QSO at 00:00 UTC there is a slight problem, If the QSO starts at 11:58 UTC then gets logged at 00:02 UTC, CQRlog uses the start time and the end date, so lets say the QSO starts at 11:58 8/6/2015 and ends at 00:02 8/7/2015 the log then set the end qso at 11:58 on 8/7/2015 which is incorrect. CQRlog should use the end time and date for the official logging time. very rare that this happens, because you have to log just at the right time, but the bug is there.. Thanks!
When I launch crqlog I get the database connection screen followed by the error message on a popup. No log is shown on the database scrren, I get this at least 90% of the time. If I reboot MAYBE it works, most of the time it doesn't.
Save log data to local machine is: ON
Open recent log after program starts is: ON
Running a utils repair does not help.
Help
Thanks

Just moved from Fedora to Debian recently and installed CQRLOG version 1.9.0 on my computer. Since then I've been unable to make CQRLOG connect to the Internet. It fails to connect to the DXcluster, to upload my logs to Clublog, and to export and import QSL information using LoTW. I'm not sure why this is happening. Below is the debug information:
$ cqrlog --debug=1
**** DEBUG LEVEL 1 ****
Hello everyone, Hello Peter.
I checked yesterday taht keying via hamlib "b" command works great with my Elecraft (and probarly with many other modern TRX's that have keyer onboard). So are they posibility to add this function to CQRlog ?? It's ona cable less in hamshack :-), and it's work similiar to WINkeyer, they accept ASCII code, and in any moment You can interrput transmitting by touch key plugged to radio.
Since upgrading to Fedora 21 I have not been able to use CQRLOG as Fedora switched over to Maridb.
I have just upgraded to 1.9.0 and now I am getting the following error when trying to start
.
Exception=Can not load MySQL library "/usr/lib64/mysql/libmysqlclient.so.18". Please check your installation.
The file is there as shown below.
Hello. I've switched to Linux Mint and accidentally delete the log. From my other computer, a MAC, I genredado the adi file to generate the log.Apparently they have been imported without errors, But to review it I realized that all contacts in the working mode was PSK31, PSK63 and imported as PSK125 the PSK. Is an import error? or you have to define a parameter for the correct amount? Regards.
If this has been discussed and cured already, I apologize in advance. I did do a search but didn't find a solution.
All QSO uploaded everytime a new QSO is added
Linux Mint 17.2
When I try to load crqlog I get the following db error. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall with no change.
"Error during connection to database: Can not load default MySQL library ("libmysqlclient.so.16" or "libmysqlclient.so") check your installation.
What do I need to do to fix this.
Thanks
Carlos

Hola amigos. Soy nuevo usando Xubuntu 14.04. He instalado CQRlog y anda como log, pero no me reconoce el FT890 ni me anda el CWDaemon. Alquien que me guie en español como configurar, y como usar el programa. Desde ya muchas gracias.
Hello,
I'd like to export all the QSO which are from unconfirmed DXCC. Can anybody tell me the the SQL-query?

Hi,
when I enter a new contact, the "Status of log upload" window trying to erase an old QSO. It can not, and does not upload the new QSO to HamQTH.
Why ?
Thanks,

I want to use a central database at my web provider. I understand cqrlog is using two databases, crqlog and cqrlog_common.
My webprovider does not allow me to select my own databasename.
I have dumped both databases from my local computer, and importet them in to two central databases.
Where is the database server, name, password, information for the databases set in cqrlog. I found something in cqrlog_login.cfg, but as far as I can se it is just for the main database.
Thanks for a excellent program

Hello. When I import a adif to include in the log file does not check for duplicates. How you have to do, so that does not happen?
Ive just installed cqrlog. a few problems but it seem OK now- no errors.
What next, how do I start it. I typed cqrlog and a page loaded with a few buttons to create and delete a file, none of which seem to work, but that's it!
Hello,
I have been using CQRLog over a year now, looked after others, but always came back. But there is one point which is quite ennerving for me: I work with a lot of computers, but only on my main Linux machine is QRCLog installed. So when I make a QSO and am working on another machine, I have to write the data down or into another program export it as adif-file and import it into CQRLog again.
I just read that it is possible to use an external mysql database, but there are so many different programs involved that I am standing on my own toes.
I have cqrlog installed after a bit of trial and error. (had to get the version tfrom the website and install that) so the log itself seems to be working ok on ubuntu 15.04
Now I have hamlib etc installed yet I am unable to have the soft talk to the radio.
ttyUSB) is the port and I set the radio to 4800 baud so I know what it is. the civ cable works fin on win 8 and hrd no sweat.
Any help and or ideas are welcome
regards,Frans J69DS
Hello All,
Is anybody using the new QSL service called eBabel. Looks good but the problem is that in order to upload an adi file it must contain the name of the operator and call of the operator entering the qso in the log. As yet CQR Log does not provide this function. So I'm curious to see what other CQR Log users think of this site and what their expiriences with it are. (www.ebabel.net) Just Google it to find it.

Marty
