I'm pretty new to this, so I'm not sure if this is a bug or a misunderstanding of how to properly use CQRLOG, but a station I recently worked, PY0F/AA4NC, in Fernando de Noronha, seems to be accounted as if it were in the USA. I tried manually editing the country, grid, ITU. WAZ, all to no avail. Any tips on why I can't seem to get this right?
Thanks,

Hi,
So, I had to upgrade the old shack PC to something newer, and I lost my real RS232 ports... I've not had much issue with usb-->serial in the past, but this has me a bit stumped.
Hi Folks,
I am fairly new to CQRlog and it's working great except I cannot seem to get it to talk to my radio. I'm using the same cable that was working fine years ago under windows. It's connected to the com port and as far as I know the port is addressed correctly. What I don't know is the proper strings to put in to get the radio and the computer talking. The hamlibs website is apparently down, so I am turning here for help. If anyone can fill me in on the right settings for the icom 706 MKiig, I would really appreciate it.

Hi,
I use CQRLog 1.9.0 and FlDigi for BPSK31.
But after saving QSO in FlDigi, and Transmit Power case are fixed with '35' (for 35W using), In CQRLog, in 'Remote Mode', the 'Pwr' are always "100" and not '35'.
The FlDigi Log File are correct, with '35' ...
Why ?
Have you a idea ?
Thanks,
ON6GMT.
Hi,
is there already a way to do QSL statistics with CQRlog? Or did anyone write a script to do some QSL statistics?
Mainly for my expeditions I want to do some rcvd QSL statistics per country.

Why if you click a line with a QSO it doesn't give on double-click give edit mode or details of the QSO.
When you do it now, nothing happens.
Can you make a single click give view-details-mode, and double-click give Edit-QSO-mode.
Hi Petr
Is there a log provided for the FD UBA SSB as http://www.ei5di.com/sdtests.html + SD input number of QSO and the output number of the corresponding ?
Thank you and 73 of QRO JeanMa
Hi Petr,
it is possible with CQRLOG to select multiple log entries and then supplement the fields of all selected entries with the data from HamQTH?
Just as in batch processing.

Hi Petr,
it is often difficult to select a callsign in the bandmap when the list repeatedly scrolls down for new entries. Do you see improvements?

Everytime I type something the characters are doubled. This does not happen with any of my other linux programs. I am running the newest version of Linux LXCE.
I have a question about portable operation. When I operate portable and use my call G7UHN/P, I'm entering in QSOs in different QTH profiles according to my portable location but as far as I can see there is no way to enter my own callsign as G7UHN/P into CQRlog. Is this correct? As my data is uploaded to HRDlog.net these QSOs are listed as being made from G7UHN not G7UHN/P.
Hi,
you've entered wrong email address, please contact me to petr@ok2cqr.com.

Hi Petr,
i have exportet my first log to ADIF, and there reorganized the QTH profiles with an editor. Then i imported the ADIF file in a new log, so that i now get two logs in the selection menu.
Now, if I want to delete the first Log, the message "You can not delete the first log!" appears.
How can I now delete the first log (old), and replace it with the second log (new)?

Now I've got the program running nicely. However, it won't control my radio. I believe the problem is something to do with serial port permisisons, and I've been working on that for hours. However, I'm still not there. The port the radio is on is ttyUSB0. And the port seems to work *IF* I logon with sudo. I can run "sudo gtkterm" and the port opens fine, and I see input if I play with the radio. But if I run gtkterm without sudo, it says something like "port ttyUSB0 permission denied."
In the CQRLog QSO List under the column qsl_s what does a "B" mean? I cannot find an answer in the documentation. Also, how do II get the QSO list page to display all my QSOs? My log contains over 5000 contacts dating back to 1982 but the QSO List page only displays QSOs back to some time in 2013.

Hello Petr, I just started CQRlog , and a "nice to have" item for the wishlist poped into my head.
Could you make the prefered DX-Cluster "auto-connect at startup" with a checkbox ?Connecting the DX-cluster is always the 1st thing i do, and it seems a bit of a useless thing to....I would be very happy if my lazyness would lead to an autoconnect at startup.

I am a newbie with Linux, so this may be a stupid question, but I'm lost. When I try to launch CQRLOG, here is what happens:
sudo cqrlog
[sudo] password for fred:
**** DEBUG LEVEL 0 ****
**** CHANGE WITH --debug=1 PARAMETER ****
IniFile:/home/fred/.config/cqrlog/cqrlog.cfg
LocalIniFile:/home/fred/.config/cqrlog/local.cfg

Just reinstalled Ubuntu 14.04. Dumping Windows 10. Installed CQRlog 1.9.0.
Added myself to the dialout group.
Rebooted.
I cannot get a connection to radio with id 129 or 132.
Please help?

Hi,
If I leave cqrlog (1.9.0 on 32bit Fedora/Intel) connected to dx cluster (VE7CC), the program crashes usually within two hours. I left it running with debugging enabled and this is what I see at the end of the output:
DX de UA4M-#: 3507.0 R5WW CW 29 dB 23 WPM CQ 2011Z
Enter critical section On Receive
Leave critical section On Receive
DX de AC0C-#: 14052.0 N1DN CW 05 dB 15 WPM CQ 2011Z

For years I've run gentoo but decided to change to ubuntu. I used rsync to copy my home directory to another linux machine, then changed to ubuntu. The change went smoothly in all regards but one. After installing cqrlog, my old log info is still there (yay!) and I can upload qsos to eQSL.
The problem is that I can't upload my qsos to LotW. LotW (i.e., trustedqsl) is installed, but trying a LotW upload yields a pop up saying:
"Database Error: BDB0087 DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run recovery
Hi Petr, when logging a QSO at 00:00 UTC there is a slight problem, If the QSO starts at 11:58 UTC then gets logged at 00:02 UTC, CQRlog uses the start time and the end date, so lets say the QSO starts at 11:58 8/6/2015 and ends at 00:02 8/7/2015 the log then set the end qso at 11:58 on 8/7/2015 which is incorrect. CQRlog should use the end time and date for the official logging time. very rare that this happens, because you have to log just at the right time, but the bug is there.. Thanks!
When I launch crqlog I get the database connection screen followed by the error message on a popup. No log is shown on the database scrren, I get this at least 90% of the time. If I reboot MAYBE it works, most of the time it doesn't.
Save log data to local machine is: ON
Open recent log after program starts is: ON
Running a utils repair does not help.
Help
Thanks

Just moved from Fedora to Debian recently and installed CQRLOG version 1.9.0 on my computer. Since then I've been unable to make CQRLOG connect to the Internet. It fails to connect to the DXcluster, to upload my logs to Clublog, and to export and import QSL information using LoTW. I'm not sure why this is happening. Below is the debug information:
$ cqrlog --debug=1
**** DEBUG LEVEL 1 ****
Hello everyone, Hello Peter.
I checked yesterday taht keying via hamlib "b" command works great with my Elecraft (and probarly with many other modern TRX's that have keyer onboard). So are they posibility to add this function to CQRlog ?? It's ona cable less in hamshack :-), and it's work similiar to WINkeyer, they accept ASCII code, and in any moment You can interrput transmitting by touch key plugged to radio.
