I have my LoTW uploads working fine and I can manually get my Download Report off of the website to import my received QSO's into CQRLog. When I try to import with CQRLog's Download and process data from the website, I click on the "Download data from ARRL website" button and get the following message:

I find that a little button to do search directly on the WEB Browser near the QRZ.com info

Yes I know that the funcion is available on the QSO LIST by right-clicking on the qso -> search on qrz.com
but a push botton on the main screen program is better

I´m a new Linux user and have just got started with Xubuntu 9.10.
The CQRLOG seem to work fine, I can log QSOs and other features also seem to work. BUT when I tried to import an ADIF-log created by DXLAB/DX-keeper nothing happens. Zero imported QSOs and no content in the folder where the qsos should be stored. The message I get is that ADIF import was successful!
The log file works fine when uploaded to LOTW. I have added the libraries as suggested in other threads here on this forum.

could the filter window treat pressing enter as "OK" button? Sometimes it is very incovenient to have to press OK with mouse instead of just pressing enter. Thank you for this feature in advance.

In 0.9.3, when entering CW Interface -> Key macros, the applications crashes:
"Access violation. Pess OK to ignore and risk data corruption or cancel to kill the program".
In 0.9.1 it worked fine. Did not try 0.9.2 in the meantime.

I'm pleased to report that CQRlog 0.9.3 works fine in Ubuntu 10.04 Beta2, including Trx-Control which was sadly broken (Hamlib that is) in Ubuntu 9.10.

Is it possible to export only select entries to ADIF and not the whole log file? For example, if I wanted to export only the last 10 logs I made, how would I do that?

Hi I have found the problem with TRX. I had /dev/ttys2 instead of /dev/ttyS2 - The upper case makes a lot of difference.

Iam using CQRLOG & ubuntu 9.10,rig is icom 746 pro. cqrlog is set up in a folder under home using the bin version.Frequency does NOT show in the TRX panel or the log input panel.When I use fldigi the frequency shows in fldigi and transfers to Cqrlog when a QSO is saved. Trx buttons do not change frequency or mode on rig when left button clicked.Mode band widths are set to zero (or normal) under preferences.Thought,does cqrlog know where to find hamlib when set up under binary version,fldigi is set up under ubuntu synaptic manager.Any clues?

Iam using CQRLOG 0.9.3, Ubuntu 9.10 and fldigi 3.11.4. I cannot import my old log ADIF log saved from windows XP and Winlog32. I can log several dummy QSOś in CQRLOG,export and then import again and everything works OK. Control +m works OK and fldigi places QSOś into CQRLOG.Any suggestions.

I would really like to see a short "How To" or Tutorial on compiling CQRLOG from source. The pre-compiled binaries do work great it just would be a fun learning experience to compile CQRLOG. I did find the line: "You have to install fpc 2.0.4, download Lazarus 0.9.24, compile it for gtk2, install uib and lnet components" A bit more detail and links to the proper versions would be much appreciated.

Hello, Ive been using CQRlog for about 6 weeks and really like it. However, I just realized that when entering a new qso, the date is incorrect, its one day behind (ex: today is 4-10-2010, the default date in the qso date box is 4-09-2010), it wont let me manually change the date. I can change the date once I save the qso by editing it. Is there an easy fix to this? I run Ubuntu 9.10, the date on the OS is correct, why is my logging software a day behind? I'd really appreciate any insight on this, 73's Chris

My adif log contains, in each qso, the adif field "operator".
(e.g. it9lnh, it9lnh/p, i1/it9lnh...)
It seems that cqrlog not handle this field.
So how can I import it into cqrlog without errors?

To reproduce this bug, enter Callsign LX9FC, press [TAB], let CQRLOG autofill the fields like QTH and try to save the QSO.
What happens:
On clicking "Save QSO", this error message appears.
This is because of the QTH being an www address instead of a correct QTH. If this entry is cleared the error does not pop up.
I would like to keep a separate log for each of the callsigns I have held. Is there a way to do this and keep the data separate?

I would like to see the ability to toggle this feature on and off in "preferences" (or?) so if you don't yet have a rig interface, you don't have to remember to click the box every time the program is started.

so far I haven't found anything in the documentation, so here my question:
Is it possible to print the QTH profile or QTH locator / station description on the QSL cards for the QSO which are confirmed? So far I managed to print the QSO comments on the QSL cards, but not the information from the QTH profile related to the QSO.
The reason behind this is that I'm QRV on VHF and 6m from different QTHs and it would be great to print the actually used locator for each QSO on the QSL card. And of course the station description if it differs from the normal one.
Is possible to change the DXCluster's "QSL needed" option to: "Confirmation needed"?
I work ONLY LoTW and DXCluster says I need a contact also if I have it confirmed with LoTW.

I'm using a membership text file as QTH Locator database as you have proposed. This works fine, but for some callsigns the grid field remains blank even though data is available in the text file.
Can you (and other users) please check if the same error occurs?

for VHF/UHF/SHF, 6m, EME etc operators it would be nice to have QTH locator database which shows known locators for a callsign. Perhaps in the "Details" window. I wouldn't recommend to put a locator automatically in the locator field because there are many stations who have more than one locator.
I'm currently managing the QTH locator database for Win-Test. It's a database containing mainly (but not only) stations and their locators in Europe and adjacent countries who are active in VHF/UHF/SHF contests. This could be a start for a CQRLOG locator database.

Now I have found that the Grayline window is black the night area.
Could this be a bug in the program? Or is it on my Kubuntu installation?

I have two problems with the TRX Control of both IC-775 and FT-857.
1.
When in the main window the option Mode: [ ] AUTO is not marked and I doubleclick on spots within the Bandmap or the Cluster the TRX (Icom or Yaesu) changes the band, but not the mode. This does not work from CW to SSB and vice versa. Nothing special could be observed in the console if CQRLOG was started from there.
