I tried to find the answer to this in the manual (no luck) and the forums (again, no luck) before posting this question...
In the QSL_R Popup menu, it shows "Q" and "!".
What does "Q" and "!" mean? Are other values recommended?

I am trying to configure the filter for the DXCluster in CQRLog : "Do not show spots for following countries"
Let's take an example. I don't want to see the spotted stations from Russia that appear on the Web/Telnet DXCluster window.
According to the help, I have to enter the country prefix that I don't want to see.
Here is what I've tried but unfortunately, with no result:

I propose that the QTH Profile setting should be removed from the ADIF import dialog. Instead the QTH-Profiles should be tied to grid locations. So when each QSO is imported, the My Grid field should be compared to the possible entries in the QTH-Profile list and then selected from there.
The way it is now, it is difficult to import an ADIF file that contains QSO's from different locations. You have to split the file into seperate locations first and then import them individually. With the dearth of LINUX ADIF Editor programs, this is difficult.
My understanding is that LOTW is now accepting FT4 uploads. I have a seperate FT4 log in my CQRLOG but when I try to upload to LOTW I get "FT4 is not a valid mode" error. I was able to upload the ADIF file manually with TQSL but would rather be able to using CQRLOG. Has anyone been able to resolve this?
******My apologies, found the solution in another post. Must add FT4 in preferences/modes.

Much to my dismay, some time into the IARU HF contest, I found that quite a few QSOs had no information in the SRX_STRING aka MSG_R column whatsoever. Although I never saved any QSO without typing something in there. I also find it difficult to add such information to a QSO in retrospect.
Having a dreadful time trying to get anything to work on the new RPi4b... even the user instructions provided with the unit don't work. It doesn't help that I'm a newbie to Linux so I'm on a steep learning curve.
Has anyone installed onto an RPI4B and, step by step, how was it done?
As the current stable version 3.3 of Hamlib does not support the IC-9700 you need to download and install a daily snapshot of the master development branch or clone it from github and compile by yourself. https://hamlib.github.io/

the issue I am having is that previous QSO's are not populating the area above the new QSO fields. Also, all of the fields in the previous QSO section have been made to say "Title" and a few have some unrecognized characters. I've noticed this issue the other day and have not found a solution yet.
Has anyone ever seen this before or can offer some guidance as to what may be causing this to happen?

Hi,
I tried to figure out, who to show the distance based on QRA Locator calculation in the QSO List Window.
Preferences -> Visible Columns has a lot of options, but no Distance between 2 stations.
For VHF/UHF/Microwave, it would be nice, to have it in the database.
Of course, if I enter a GRID in the New QSO window, distance is calculated and shown in the right stats part.
Is there any way, to show it also in the qso list and/or export it for QSL Labels ?

I'm having here an Issue with CQRLOG 2.3.0 (001) 2018-06-17 running on Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS (amd64), which has been there for a while but is now really worsening and getting on my nerves:
Very often when I work with the Filter or Search function, an empty pop-up window appears, just saying "cqrlog" in the headline and offering nothing but the "X" in the left corner of the title bar. When clicking the "X" the window reappers immediately.
I tried to compile the git repo's commit 0ec63ce7ce and that doesn't compile for me.
The interesting lines from the build output seem to be:
Display a big warning in the Contest window if the same call has been worked before with same mode in the same band.

Hello all, After launching today CQRLOG and entering some paper QSL's the program froze which forced me to killall cqrlog. Unfortunately, after restart, I'm getting only two QSO's in my list, however "QSO in log" shows the correct number. Also, I cannot "find" (CTRL+F) any QSO's that aren't on the list.
This is a minor issue. I am a member of the SKCC group. I have 2 SKCC member lists with my CQRLOG (V2.3.0) install. The original in /usr/share/cqrlog/members and the updated one in ~/.config/cqrlog/members. Here is the problem, when I type a call, for instance mine, WB6IZG it gets the data from the old list and not the new list. The behavior I am seeing is if the info is in both lists it uses the old list. If the info is only in the updated list it uses that.
I've installed the latest version using the "complete application directory" package on my Ubuntu 18.10 system. However, when I run cqrlog, I see an error related to mysql. Please see below for debug output. Any direction that anyone can provide in troubleshooting the issue is appreciated.

I am using version 2.3, and when I put the CAT control, I notice when I change the announcement of the cluster or mode in the control window of the transceiver, which changes me to cw inverse mode or cwr, when I would only have to change to cw mode normal.
I've been looking at the configuration of the radio as well as some option of the cqrlog, but I can not find anything to make it work well and do not put it in reverse cw.
Has someone happened to you?
Is there any solution?

After a PC crash i install with no problem KUBUNTU 1804LTS and working well with jtdx.
no problem but this afternoon i have during log QSO operation a message: acces violation ok or kill.
if i send ok it is not possible to write a new qso. it is necessary to restart program.

Now back to version 2.3.0 (103) icom ic-7300 behave normal.

I'm trying to get CQRlog 2.3.0 working from the .deb on Ubuntu MATE 18.04 with a 4k 28-inch monitor. (This has about 157 dpi.) I've enabled hidpi in MATE Tweak. The CQRlog windows are tiny and I have to reduce the font size to about 7pt to fit in the tiny boxes.
Any ideas?

it is to rip out hair. I don't understand to get cqrlog 2.3.0 (001) to run. Meanwhile I'm not satisfied to have it at work. I want to understand what are the requirements.
Every time when I do start the program I don't my icom706km2 displayed on my screen (Lenovo Thinkpad w541, with Kubunt 19.04, up to date). Here some information about installed software:

- mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.7.26
