I'm not sure if this is a result of the problems with the build that I've posted about previously in the Open Discussion, but the Start Time and End Time are not updating like they have in the past.
In the past the times would update as long as the user did not TAB out of the Call field. Even with a call in the Call field they would continue to update.

if you use cw keying mode (F12) you see that spaces between two words are ignored. So instead of 'vvv testing de dl4uny' the program is sending 'vvvtestingdedl4uny'. But if you send it directly to cwdaemon via netcat spaces are included. Also with the CW-function key spaces work just fine. Is that just a bug?

The ADIF standard calls for the field to contain a numeric code that relates to the DXCC Entity or country. CQRLog puts the country Prefix in the field instead e.g. "G" instead if "223".
While this is very user friendly for some, it can cause problems for others. This data is in the log in the ADIF field.
What I'd like to see is an option in the Preferences -> Export Tab that allows the selection of country code (numeric) or country Prefix to be inserted into the DXCC field when exporting to ADIF files.

new version. But. Still can't use F-macros. I'm using WinKeyer usb with nanokeyer and
last version, where i can use F-macros is 1.5.4.
Any other testers noticed this, or am I only cw-user, hi :D

When applying a filter if I choose ...
Sort by: = Date + time
Group by: = Call
I expected all like call signs grouped together and sorted by date but this is not the case. Could someone please explain what output I should get from this.
What I am trying to achieve is to group by call and sort by date for qsl export. It seems that simply sorting by call is all I need to do and the last sort which is by date and time still applies but I would like to be sure.

If a station is worked with no QSL manager the record is stored with no manager in the QSL_via field. If the station is worked later on after a manager has been appointed the QSL_via field is filled with the manager's call but the first QSO is not. If you view the first QSO the manager's call shows in the "New QSO" panel even though the QSL_via field is blank. If both QSO's are marked "SMB" the qsl.csv contains two entries. One for the QSL_via = Manager's call and the other for QSL_via = blank.

I attempted to build 1.5.6 tonight. When make completed there were over one hundred warnings, but zero errors.
I ran make install and the command completed without any problems.
The problem however is when I run CQRLog, I receive the following error:
Invalid floating point operation.
Press OK to ignore and risk data corruption.
Press Cancel to kill the program.
If I press OK and continue on I will receive the same error when opening new windows.
I should apologize for the broken band map function in last two versions (1.5.5 and 1.5.6). I do not write the code, I maintain the country files, QSL routes database and some of membership lists. Also, I designed many options, including the band map. The original idea came from the TR Log by N6TR (DOS contesting program) - the band map window should display band and/or mode (selectable) filtered spots from the cluster accompanied with the own spot list which is used to store call signs and frequencies to which you want to return (unsuccesful calling etc.). Is it possible to include the locator field in the LOTW upload. I am finding some stations do not include locator in their LOTW profile, so while a qsl record is generated for qsos with these stations, the qso will not be used for VUCC. I am hopeing that if the locator is uploaded, it will be used for vucc.

I tried to upload the latest qso's to LoTW and got the following error message:
After choosing View QSO from the log list and then in the QSO window pressing Ctrl+F2 for New QSO, sometimes (always?) the Callsign field is read-only, i.e. I can't type a new callsign in there.
The only solution I've found is to restart CQRLog. So now I avoid using the "View QSO" feature.

After 1.5.5 update, I have a problem with "Mark QSL sent after export" : "QSL export error: "4X" is an invalid integer" response.
Impossible this function use.

When downloading from lotw I get a message box saying 2 qso's were not found in your log.
When I look at the lotw_error.txt file, both the qso's there are in my log and one has been confirmed by lotw and eqsl and so marked in my log. The dates, times, mode and call match so I wonder what I have wrong in my log? Can anyone help please?

How can I import adi files that contain JT9-1 as mode in the qso.
I tried to add a user defined mode in preferences, and JT9-1 appears in the drop down list on the log screen, but it still refuse to import it from adi file.
Is there any other setting I need to do.
I am using CQRLOG 1.5.4 on Ubuntu linux.

This is an old bug, nothing to do with 1.5.5.
I prefer to use the "get UTC time from computer" option, because it takes the DST into consideration. However, the grayline window is one hour behind the real sunrise/sunset.
You can use the manual setting UTC 3, grayline 2 and sunrise/set 3 to get also the grayline correct, but then you have to remember to change the settings twice a year.

I still have this same preferences and i cant see any spots in Band map window. :(
When i send sh/dx 100 and when spots are comming from telnet window.
Band map windows is still blank.
Maybe this is only my problem ??

Running version 1.5.4 on Ubuntu 12.04. All works great except DXCluster. I cannot get any spots whether I connect to Web or a Telnet service. Anyone have an idea or stumped too?

This is just a heads up. Yesterday there was an upgrade for MySQL on Ubuntu and since then I had an error message after running CQRLog most of the day that MySQL had stopped. Later I was doing my incoming QSL cards and after about 100 cards the machine got slower and slower and finally I had to exit. I was not sure if the Loging was the problem and did not take any memory measurements but if others note any problems that seem related then a bug (probably MySQL) should be posted.

My unbuntu crashed and 12.10 was reloaded along with cqrlog 1.5.4. Cqrlog is showing an I/O error on startup. The settings are the same as before the crash. My terminal output is below. Any help is greatly appreciated.
