I can't launch the program I get ...
TMySQL56Connection : Server connect failed....
error when trying to load the database.
The database connection is empty.
What is the fix?
Where is the log database location and file name?
If I update CRQLOG will I lose my logbook?
Thanks

Hello,
I am using the Membership function of CQRLog and fill information about the membership in the award field. That works fine. If I press Esc Esc to clear my entries the Award field is not cleared.
Hello,
ok, it's not realy a but report but maybe a discussion, if CQRLOG has a problem with MariaDB 10.4 and how to fix it. At the moment, there are two topics with problems which are based on MariaDB 10.4

Hi to all, and thanks in advance for any advice.
With no mods in configuration, starting from some time, I can't download any information from eqsl.cc to my CQRLog.
I can, with no problem to upload, but in case of downloading I get: "Error: No such Username/Password found"; if I try to connect to the site with the same user and password I login with no problem.
I'm using Membership functionality to track my qso with members of 3 or 4 clubs. Everything works perfectly if I log my contacts 'on time' or 'off-line'. But AFAIK club's memberships are not checked when qso's are imported from an adif file, e.g. from the contest logger. I think it would be good to have membership checked after adif import.
Using Mint 19.2 64 bit. The grayline window has disappeared - I can barely see an outline of it but the window itself is transparent. There is a yellow dot next to grayline in the window menu that i don't remember seeing before. Did I do something? Everything looks OK in preferences.

Hi!
I couldn't upload a QSO with 4Y1A to ClubLog, because they reject 4Y as entity. Since one edit to that QSO, no further QSO can be uploaded to ClubLog, because it always stops here:
ClubLog: Deleting original 4Y1A
ClubLog: Could not delete original QSO data!
So, I tried to mark all QSO as uploaded to ClubLog to be able to move on. But I get a message box, saying:
Could not mark QSO as uploaded:TMySQL56Connection : Error executing query: Data too long for column 'cmd' at row 1
I am a new user to CQRLOG and still deciding whether to stay, or run back to the safety of Windows and HRD. I'd like to stay...but there are some challenges.
Hello,
I have a question (sorry for bad english...hi..)
i have a problems with automatic log upload.
I have this message:
(working well with HamQTH but i have a bad message with HRDLog.)
The only solution (fr the moment) is to mark qso as updated !
I upgraded to Mint 19.2 from 19.1 last week and CQRLOG works fine except that when I try to access the preferences or anything else after it has been up for a while the windows become frozen. Once I get out of CQRLOG and bring it back up it operates normally. It seems to happen after I have been using WSJTX with the remote feature.
Thoughts?

Hi
I have CQRLog (V2.3.0) running in two different environmernts/systems
System 1 PC with Ubuntu 19.04 and no issues. I use this to compare with system below.
System2 Raspberry Pi 3 under Raspian 9. OK on a monitor but not on a small touchscreen.
Hi All,
I just upgreded CQRLog to the beta version 2.3.0 (003) dated on 2019-07-26. Upgrade was smooth and logger working fine. As I read and as I can see CQRLog has now a new column named 'Contest name'. Until now, I kept info about the qso's made in contests in the 'Comment to QSO' column.
I'm not very friendly with database operations, so my question is: How to move info from 'Comment to QSO' to the new 'Contest name'?
Thanks for help,
Slav
Hi,
I made several test qso's and then deleted them.
Yesterday when I was getting the qsl and attachments (call_data folder) figured out I found the menu option to display all 'comments to qso'.
It listed several comments I had on current qso's, but also still had the comments from the test qso's I had deleted.
It appears that that data is not cleaned up when the qso is deleted.
Not a big deal, not a critical bug, but just wanted to mention it.
Thanks again for a great logging program.

I use these remote drives for almost anything in my daily life and carry the most used info from a computer to another through Dropbox. I believe many other HAM are doing the same.
Would be nice if We could save the database online on a remote drive like Dropbox, G-Drive or similar, not necessarily at the same time... as if I am portable my computer in the shack will be likely OFF.
So my wish is under the Xmas tree :)

I am wondering how to handle clublog OQRS QSL requests. I recently got a mail from the system telling me:
This is an automatic message to alert you that the following QSLs have been requested for PG4I using Club Log OQRS.
...
BURO
========
SM6NJK with PG4I on 2015-02-15 08:10:00 20 CW via BURO
This QSO is indeed in my log. The only interaction with clublog I can think of is clicking on "OQRS" at the top of the page. Then I see at the bottom of the page:
Bureau QSLs (number of QSOs):
1 (approximate - includes unfinished checkouts)
Hello,
I could not open yet CQRLOG even after restart computer. "Server connect failed"
More, after saved yesterday the log on hamQTH, no log yet when tried "repaire data base" ?
Messages for mysqlerrors are below. Tnx for help.
Ver. 2.3.0 (003) from 26 JUL 2019
Clicking the highlighted link http://dk0wcy.de/magnetogram in the "Propagation DK0WCY" window causes an error - the link does not exist.
It seems that the program calls a wrong link /usr/bin/http:/dk0wcy.de/magnetogram
Note the single slash in http:/dk0wcy
This option was OK in previous versions.

I have not been able to get TRX control to work with my Icom IC-7100.
I'm using CQRLOG 2.3.0 in Debian 9 (Stretch). I have no issues using WSJT-X or Fldigi or Flrig and they can see and control my radio. My attempts to get TRX control in CQRLOG have not been successful though. I have read through most of the threads in this site and tried various suggestion, but have not had any luck.
I use Linux Mint 19.1, it has the Ubuntu based version 2.0.5 in it's repo , I see in the Linux mint 19.2 they are carrying on with Version 2.0.5, so I download the 64 bit Unbuntu based version of Cqrlog 2.3.0. when I went to install it a window came up suggesting I install mints repo version. As the computer I will use will be dedicated to my Icom 7700 and CQRLOG and with time digital modes that it supposts. I am not new to Linux having used it for 10 years now but favoring Unbuntu and Debian based OS's

Hi,
I'm new to CQRLog and Ubuntu 18.4 as well. I've just installed CQRLog and have it communicating with my KX3. I want to use a Winkeyer 3 USB as my CW interface. When plugging it into my laptop I see no indication of a connection i.e. the winkey remains in the standalone mode. I have used the lsusb command and can see the winkeyer in the resulting listing. To the best of my ability, the winkeyer is USB0 and my rig is USB1.
What steps should I take to further investigate and get the winkeyer working properly?
Thanks in advance,
Robie - AJ4F
After long time there is a new beta version of CQRLOG. You can download it from here:

Hi everyone,
I have an issue getting CAT control working with my KX3. I am using Linux Mint 19.1. CAT is working in WSJTX and JS8call as well as Wizker. Radio ID is Set to 229. So I know I am member of dialout and ttyUSB0 is the correct interface and the baudrate is correct. Remote Mode with WSJTX and Fldigi is working fine too. Cqrlog Version is 2.3.0.
Any Suggestion whats going wrong? This is the last issue to solve before deleting windoofs completely.
Any ideas are welcome. Mny Tnx in advance.

Hi,
I tried to find the answer to this in the manual (no luck) and the forums (again, no luck) before posting this question...
In the QSL_R Popup menu, it shows "Q" and "!".
What does "Q" and "!" mean? Are other values recommended?
Please advise, and thanks.

Hello everyone,
I am trying to configure the filter for the DXCluster in CQRLog : "Do not show spots for following countries"
Let's take an example. I don't want to see the spotted stations from Russia that appear on the Web/Telnet DXCluster window.
According to the help, I have to enter the country prefix that I don't want to see.
Here is what I've tried but unfortunately, with no result:
