I was able to upload QSO's fine to LOTW from my QSO list last night but when I tried to download from LOTW I get this error:
Something is wrong because LoTW server returned invalid adif file header.
Your LoTW username/password could be wrong or LoTW server is down.
Do you want to show the file?
My username and password are correct and the LOTW site shows it is not down. I have tried several times today with the same result. Is anyone else having this issue?

Hi, I encountered a "problem" when importing the qsos from wsjtx_log.adi.
If there are any QSOs already present in the log, this message "It looks like this QSO is in the log. Do you really want to import it again?" is shown. I click on Yes, but it shows up again until I get to import the new QSOs.
Is it possible to automate this procedure? Read the .adi file and import only the qso not present in the log?

Each time CQRLOG is opened the DXCC Update window updates and the result is always 1102276. Just now I opened CQRLOG ten times and the same update occured. Is this a bug? It always is the same amount and I question if the program is actually updating and perhaps losing the data when the program closes. This has been occuring for many weeks.
Anyone else notice this?
I am new to CQRlog, and I had some problems with the MySQL when I upgraded to version 2.4 of CQRlog. The MySQL did not install properly, but when I try to fix the installation Lubuntu tells me there is nothing wrong with it. Is there a way to rescue this installation without re-installing the OS? I really like the features on CQRlog, and it does just about everything I want it to do except save my QSOs!
Also, is there a way to export/import ADIF files?
Is there a generic DXpedition log instead of strictly contest logs?
73,
On the bottom window of the Graymap it states "Disconnected". What does this mean? The map is functioning well.

Hello,
I'm using CQRLOG on my Raspberry Pi with 7" touch screen, and the main "New QSO" screen barely fits on the display, most of it cut off. I was wondering if I can hide some fields which I never use, such as QTH, GRID, QSL, comments, and DXCC statistics section?
Thanks.

JWFD is a New Zealand contest (Jock White Field Day) https://www.nzart.org.nz/activities/contests/jwfd . Due to its unique set of rules is it possible to create a contest window to allow logging. If a build template is available are we able to access it and create a new contest

Moin,
a short viedeo how to connect cqrlog to sdr console (on Windows). It is on german, so please activate the subtitles for the English translation. If you are interested, I will make the video again in English (and French).
Greetings,
I have CQRlog running on my Ubuntu 18.04 machine very nicely now. I also have my ICOM 756 talking to it via a USB interface. All good so far with that.
Rotor Control...How do I figure out my ROT ID MODEL and if it is supported ? I assume CQRlog uses the hamlib TCP rotator control daemon.
I use a Idiom Press ROTOR-EZ interface which I build and interfaced for my HyGain Tailtwister
I typed "which rotctld" in a terminal and "/usr/bin/rotctld" is echoed so I assume its in there.

Hey all,
Running the above on a pi4. I get communications between the 2 but when i log qso (in wsjtx), cqrlog doesn't log it. Info populates when i start a qso (ft8) but doesn't save the contact. Any tips?
With POTA especially for Park to Park credit one needs MY_SIG_INFO and SIG_INFO in the adif. What fields relate to these 2 entries?
from documentation on the POTA facebook group:
If I had a P2P, enter:
• MY_SIG_INFO Park I’m in
• SIG_INFO other person’s park
When I try to start CQRLog I get the following error:
Error during connection to database: Can not load default MySQL library ("libmysqlclient.so.16" or "libmysqlclient.so"). Check your installation.
I am using OpenSuse 15.1, MariaDB and CQRLog version 2.3.0 from OpenSuse's Ham Radio Repository.
I was able to open CQRLog and update my log on Jan 31.
Any ideas?
hello.. just installed CQR... wondering tho ... is there a vanilla verson ??
the new qso window is sooooooo over done for me.. iam a basic logger.. dont need all that stuff..
enter
call freq band rst time date... thats all i need..
heck rst can be 599.. isnt it always again again 59 59 again again hahhaha had to lol
but yeah a plain jane vanillia version would be cool
also in the new qso window.. if a call shows up in the window above.. its one line. hard to scroll.. resizeable area there and lil easy to scroll ...
The box is checked for HamQTH and password is correct. I click on the button and webpage opens. All good. But when entering call in qso window and tab over to rst nothing happens. No name, qth, etc.
Using the telnet packet cluster and clicking on a dx spot results in immediate entry of the callsign into the QSO Window but not the frequency. There is a 5 minute latency for the radio's frequency to change and the frequency to appear in the QSO Window. No idea why this is occurring.
Located the problem. The default polling rate is 500. Changed it to 1000 and now it works quickly and efficiently. Will do some experimentation with other rates.
The numerals showing the date and times for qso's are too large. In order for them to fit within the box I have to uncheck the default box but then all the font size on the entire qso window size decreases.
Hello.
Installed cqrlog. Running a Yaesu FT-1000mp. The interface cable from the rig to the computer is an RS-232 to USB. What should the device info be? How can I ascertain the correct Port in this OS which is Linux Mint 18.3 and I am a member of a dialup group.
This is from the command line...
/usr/bin/cqrlog
Cqrlog Ver:2.3.0 (001) Date:2018-06-17
**** DEBUG LEVEL 0 ****
**** CHANGE WITH --debug=1 PARAMETER ****
rig_open: error = IO error
5.846145] usb 3-2: FTDI USB Serial Device converter now attached to ttyUSB0
Highly suggest watching the video by CQRLOG install by Tom, K8WDX. This is an excellent presentation by Tom on the installation process and simply the easiest way to install.

Greetings
I have been trying to setup CQRlog for a friend on his Ubuntu machine. I had several issues but eventually got it running. I just installed Ubuntu in my shack. I installed CQRlog from the UBUNTU software listing with issues. I uninstalled it and now I cannot install any further software on my Ubuntu machine.
How do I fix this ???

New user John, VA3KOT here. Tried to start CQRLog for first time and received error msg: "MySQL could not be started, please check if the MySQL server is installed properly". I would appreciate some help, thanks.
My OS is Mint Cinnamon 19.3. I added and installed from the repo suggested on this site. Here are the last few lines of mysql.err:
