Hello CQRLOG,
I'am digging deeper into the setup of CQRLOG.
Today was time to setup two rigs with hamlib and working CW interface.
I was not aware of the fact, that only the first rig can use the CW interface!
Menu CW interface -> Interface type: HamLib -> see description there
For my understanding I can use TRX control to switch the rigs.
Only the activated rig (first or second) is the rig which can use the CW interface!
I would be great to have this fixed.

Yesterday I made a test to install cqrlog to Fedora 32.
I wanted to test QT5 version and I did not have free hardware so I ended up to virtual computer.
Built one with 8Gb virtual hard drive.
Loaded network install media from https://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/32/Server/x... and installed it as virtual CD of virtual computer.
I decided to transfer the log. I exported to ADIF and imported it into CQRLog on another computer. After that, in the QSO List Field DXCC CFM: 1
Actually I have CFM: 116. Where does the rest of the confirmation go?
I need to set up regular cqrlog backups (preferably automatic).
The backup on exit doesn't work for me. It is not a priority to fix that because I rarely shutdown/reboot/exit-cqrlog.
I would prefer a backup method that allows me to automate a backup, maybe by middle of the night cron job, or similar.
I have tried this suggestion:

I installed the version UBUNTU 20.04 and I installed CQRLOG from the Synaptic package manager.
When launching CQRLOG I have an error on the base.
I consulted the forum where I found this solution:
I uninstalled CQRLOG
then I applied the following command
sudo apt install cqrlog libmariadb3 libmariadb-dev mariadb-common mariadb-server
below the errors encountered
Reading package lists ... Done
Building the dependency tree
Reading status information ... Done
cqrlog is already the most recent version (2.4.0-3).

After mistakenly importing my main backup adi file (instead of exporting it) I have 37k dupes in my log.
I tried the delete dupes from QSO window file menu but get this error:

I am using 2.4.0 as packaged by Fedora 31.
I have a few logbook databases that were accumulated before I configured callbook support. These do not have a state filled into the state field. Is there any way to re-tag them now that I have callbook support enabled?
We're probably talking under 100 contacts, but more than 50.

Hi guys,
I have spent some time and implemented a function to upload QSO data to qrz.com logbook (similar to hamQTH, hrdlog, etc.).
This can basically upload to qrz.com. The thing is it cannot delete/update QSOs because that requires an individual log ID that you get when you upload the QSO data to qrz.com.
I am thinking about storing that ID into CQRlog's database in order to be able to delete(or update aka. delete and re-enter) the QSO from the qrz.com logbook later. What do the developers think about this?

yesterday I switched from MySQL- to MariaDB-Server.
All was okay. CQRLOG was working.
Later the day I checked "mysql.err" again - some strange messages in there.
I solved this doing reinstall from backup (settings and adif).
Then all was okay again.
Just some messages are still there:
This may not be the right forum, and if it isn't I apologize, but if I want the PI4 to key the radio via the GPIO pins (say pin 17) when running digital modes what values do I put in here?

would achieve what I want from CLI but how to incorporate that into CQRlog's setup?
I have upgraded to Ubuntu 20.04 and can not open cqrlog database. any help would be appreciated
I have added myself to the dialout group but when I try to connect to radio I get:

I attached a screen capture of the CAT setting in the ExpertSDR software.
It gives me an error and I think I have the libraries installed
MySQL coud not be started, please check if the MySQL server is installed properly
If You don’t find the answer, ask in CQRLOG forum and attach last 20 lines from the mysql.erre.file
For the life of me I cannot get this install correctly from Software installer or any other way. The problem seems to be around mysql not starting.

I feel I am missing something simple. I'd like to have my raspberry pi connect to the cqrlog database on the desktop so that both computers use the same database and the log is always synced. I uncheck local logs on the pi and enter the destop's name but fail to connect. Maybe there's something i'm missing on the desktop's end?
yes .config/crqlog has been copied over and I see the complete log on the pi when working locally so everything should be here.
Is it possible to have a Sent QSL, Lotw, eQSL column similar to the Received QSL, Lotw, eQSL column?

Hi guys.
I have moved computers and moved my data from the old computer via an export / import.
The new version is 2.4.0 on Linux Mint.
All seems to be working nicely, however...
I used to get a distance displayed underneath the lat long on the right hand side of the QSO entry window.
I am now only getting that when I display the old QSO entries from before the cross over. New ones are not being calculated.
I have my location set in preferences as a 6 digit maidenhead.

first: thanks for this great software!
Now I'll try to explain the problem:
- starting cqrlog
- dxcluster ist open
- propagation window open
- CW type open
- RBN Monitor open
=> then I click in the empty RBN Monitor window - try to catch "connect" - missed this and got a red STOP sign.
=> I can close the RBN Monitor but it is unuseable then until restart of cqrlog.
Attached you can see the trace.

At least Fedora updates offer now HamLib version 4.0
With that installed user must change rig model number. It is not same as it was before.
If you use rigctld that starts from crontab or elsewhere (I.E. from command line) change the "- m" number. You get list of models with command :
rigctld -l
For example IC7300 has "-m 373", with HamLib 4.0 it is "-m 3073"
Emulation rigs model "-m" less than 10 have not changed.
If you start rigctld from cqrlog just go to Preferences/TRXControl and reselect your rig model from drop down selector.
Friends, I'm not familiar with fpc and lazarus but I have fpc 3.2.0-r1 and lazarus 2.1.0 (trunk) installed and working. How do I get the build to find the location of lazarus. I have it installed in /usr/local/share/lazarus

Hi. Can you add option on trx control to activate 60m band. Or easy setup to activate what band i wana have on trx control window somethings like check/uncheck what band is listing on trx control window?
Hi all.
I'd like to ask for another suggestion. Could CQRLOG implements user defined fields in a next release as ADIF manner for example? It could be useful to storage some information about contests or awards for example.
