I'm not sure if this belongs here or on the wish list .... can CQRLOG be made to work with the ExpertSDR software TCI?
How else can CQRLOG be made to work with the expert software if not by TCI?

Hi,
Cqrlog has fldigi remote mode. But is any way to start fldigi from cqrlog in waterfall only mode (fldigi --wfall-only)?

Is it possible to have cqrlog go from Call field directly to RST rcvd ?
When no radio is connected one must tab 4 times to get to the rst field.
Being able to define the tab filed order would be nice, like from call to ITU when contesting etc.
also i would like the qso dato so show Day/Month/Year, it is year/month/day now.
Hi all,
I have difficulty to connect my IC7610, and eventually my Winkeyer to CQR.
I'm with Debian10.
Ports listing gives:

D: Ver= 1.10 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS=64 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=10c4 ProdID=ea60 Rev= 1.00
S: Manufacturer=Silicon Labs
S: Product=CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller
S: SerialNumber=IC-7610 13002399 A
Since I upgraded to Mint 20 Cinnamon and compiled the latest version of CQRLOG the way the windows act is different. The windows I use are New QSO, DX Cluster, RBN Monitor, TRX Control, and DK0WKY Propagation. In previous versions of Mint when I clicked on the CQRLOG icon in the task bar (when the program was running but minimized) all of the windows would come up. But now when I do that only the NEW QSO window comes up. If I hover over the icon in the task bar I see the other windows but i have to click them one at a time to get them all back full screen. It's a pain in the rear.

Last week I did a fresh install of Mint 20 Cinnamon and also the latest CQRLOG which I compiled per Saku's tutorial. All worked just fine until I attempted to export my log to a thumb drive. With Mint 19, 18 and 17 every Sunday I would export my entire log to a thumb dive via "QSO list-file-export-ADIF" and then select my thum drive in the "save file as" window and export to the drive. When I tried this yesterday with the new install all was fine until the "save file as" window came up. My thumb drive cannot be found and the actual window is different.
Are there any command-line arguments supported by CQRLog? I can't find any documentation about this.
Specifically, I'd like to launch the application with "Remote for WSJT-X" on, as that how I use it most often.
I'd prefer to turn it off when I'm not using it, rather than having to manually turn it on most times that I launch CQRLog.
Thanks for great logger!

Hi there,
I have been fighting 2 tranceivers, the Icom IC-7300 and the Yeasu FT991A, they use the same USB-UART and as such they switch /dev/ttyUSBx all the time.
So create a file like this; nano /etc/udev/rules.d/40-ttyusb.rules
SUBSYSTEM=="tty", ATTRS{idVendor}=="10c4", ATTRS{idProduct}=="ea60", ATTRS{serial}=="IC-7300 03011067", SYMLINK+="icom"
SUBSYSTEM=="tty", ATTRS{idVendor}=="10c4", ATTRS{idProduct}=="ea70", ATTRS{serial}=="00E3DAB0", SYMLINK+="yeasu"
Insert something like above and you find the exact parameters with this command:
Is there information on the Wsjt-x CQ monitor and what are all the check boxes for ?

Using Mint 20, WSJT V.2.3.0-rc1. At first when I checked the "remote mode for wsjt" box the CQ monitor showed up small and in the upper left hand corner of my screen. One I enlarged and moved it all was fine. But just now when I tried to enlarge it disappeared and I cannot find it. I have tried restarting with no luck. Remote mode is working fine but the CQ Monitor window is gone and I cannot find it. Does the same thing on JTDX. Any ideas anyone?

I exported the entire log in adif file to ClubLog with strange errors. DXCC for over 450 qso is shown in ClubLog as "SATELLITE, INTERNET OR REPEATER" which is not true and distorts the dxcc statistics. If I edit these qso manually in cqrlog then they are uploaded to ClubLog correctly. But manual editing of 450 qso is a bit too much ;)
Is it possible to correct these qso's in some way?

Fresh Mint 20 install. I have CQRLOG up and running thanks to a lot of help found searching this forum. Especially Saku's thread about installing fresh and compiling the latest - very helpful. I am having trouble getting TQSL to install. I downloaded TQSL and then right clicked on the open directory. Then tried the procedure I always used with Mint 19.3:
Click on "open in terminal"
Type "cmake ."
Type "make"
Type "sudo make install"
But at cmake . I get the following errors:
My hamshack computer is a wonder box of many functions. It functions as my personal computer and as a local network server. I have recently upgraded to Ubuntu 20.04.1 from 18.04.x. On the personal side I use Ham radio applications. On the server side I am trying to set up a development/test server for web applications. On 18.04 I had CQRLOG working with MySQL as well as Joomla! working with the same server with the server running as a service. I am having the same issues as others trying to use MySQL and not getting it to work but that is another discussion.
new to CQRLOG. trying to import LOTW. I get:
547 QSO(s) were not found in your log.
QSO(s) are stored to /home/pi/.config/cqrlog/lotw_error.txtDo you want to show the file?
How do I actually import these into the CRQLOG db?
I added third club to tracking membership and got strange effect.
As always I set Award field to be filled with club name in Preferences... but if I go to qso list window and next to 'Statistics->Membership tracking->Rebuild membership statistics' then award field for several qso is filled but for the call signs which even are not in my /.config/cqrlog/members txt file.
If I am trying to do this with the same qsos but manually by edit qso or if I simulate live qso its never happens and working fine only with call signs which are in txt file.
Hi everybody,
on my raspberry pi I have js8call and cqrlog 2.4 installed.
Even though both programs use the same hamlib library I am able to select my FTdx101d in js8call but not in cqrlog 2.4. Strange!
Does anyone have an idea?

1. Sort with DIG members gives no useful result. The member list is from where and when?? The most aktual official list is found here: https://diplom-interessen-gruppe.info/fileadmin/downloads/DIGLISTE.csv
2. Statistics on DOK gives 1 Hit of many
3. ONLINE update of online logs gives an endless delete/insert/update cycle, Swiching this off still opens the update status window with "xxx not enabled".
Else everything works smooth as far as I can see :-)

Hi
I use Cqrlog & JTDX (or sometimes WSJTX). I prefer JTDX because decodes much more contacts.
I installed GridTracker but I can not manage to get them working. Ports seem to be properly configured (127.0.0.1:2237, same on JTDX and GridTracker but nothing happens on GridTracker).
I use ufw as firewall and I also tried with the fireall disabled, with no result.
Any help, please?
Regards
Hello,
after being QRV majorly on QO-100 for a while, I have some ideas that would make life easier for satellite operation:
1. On startup, the satellite selection in the Satellite tab is always empty. It would be nice if CQRLog would remember the last satellite used, or if it would be possible to set a default satellite.
Hi !
I have seen this 2.4.0-3 package mentioned few times before. Would be interesting to know from what date of source is used for building it.
Problem is that version number does not grow during main versions. Perhaps it should be changed with every pull request, at least the build date.
At some point build date is set to show out at bottom of QSO list (left side with version number) but that does not help if it is not changed with every commit.
That is why package maintainers, if they create "meanwhile" packages, should use commit numbers in their naming.
Hello
Is it possible to make CQRLOG upload logs contacts as soon they are recorded and worked from WSJT-X?
If it is already been done would you please let me know how to implement to my Linux system?
I am not comparing but just to have an idea of what I am talking about. It is a similar resource that we find when using LOG4OM. When I am there any worked QSO that goes up to this log is also upload to QRZ, Clublog and eQSL. Only LoTW process is made using manual routine.
Hi
I could not find a way to force a new lookup into Hamqth when editing an old QSO.
Or is there a utility to go through the whole log and refresh the station details?
Thank you for your help
