Hi,
with version 2.5.0 I noticed that german umlauts are not taken over in the name field.
Example:
Name = "Günter
Displayed name in the "Last QSO Area" = "Günther".
This behavior was not observed in the previous versions.

I have made some new videos called "Cqrlog 2021" to show some new properties of cqrlog.
Those were done before 2.5.0 release but I have used my test version 2.4.0(135) that is very close of now released 2.5.0
Those videos are not high quality entertainment but I hope they are good enough to give help for some cqrlog properties.
You will find them from https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3yPCVYmfeBzDSwTosOe2fQ
AFTER LOOSING HELP IN CQRLOG 2.5.0, NOW I FIND LOTW UPLOADS HAS CRASHED.
HOW DO I REMOVE THE BROKEN 2.5.0 AND PUT MY OLD BUT WORKING 2.4.0 BACK WITH UBUNTU 20.04?
Hello all,
As LinuxMint 20.1 has been released, I updated my script to help people install CQRlog without any trouble.
I have to mention that i assume you install all on a fresh installation of LM20.1
You can find my script on https://github.com/pa1sbm/LM_CQRlog_Installer
Please do read the text there be for you start!
Hi
Happy today when I typed sudo apt-get update ... upgrade and I realised that there was a new version of cqrlog. My current version is 2.4.0(134).
Unfortunatelly my happiness diassapered in seconds ... I was not able to upgrade it. Please find below the error output. I am runnig Ubunto 20.04 on a brand new Lenovo laptop.
To start with this is a great logging program. It works with my ic-7300 perfectly no complaints there. Using Kubuntu. However when running WSJT there seems to be a conflict with both CQRLOG and WSJT communicating with the rig. I get error messages from WSJT regarding PTT and frequency. Opening CQRLOG in terminal i can see communication with the 7300. I would think communication with rig would stop in remote operation. The only way to get all working is to remove the 7300 from the radio 1 settings. I have CQRLOG settings to get frequency, etc from fldigi. WSJT works fine by itself.
Hi,
Can we have something showing current frequency in the Band map window?
Lets say that my radio current freq is 14225.00 than band map window could looks something like that:
14200.000 EI2IDB
14210.000 SP3RXO
| 14225.000 ------------
14240.000 OH1KH
14245.000 OK1RR
Thanks,
Slav, EI6KW
Hello,
I have recently installed mint and have been at odds trying to connect to the sql server. I keep getting this error upon startup:
Error during connection to database: TMySQL57Connection : Server connect failed.
I have went in to a terminal and tried:
sudo apt-get install mariadb-client-10.3 mariadb-server-10.3 libmariadb3 libssl-dev libmariadb-dev-compat
as I seen a previous thread about dependencies.
So when I run that install command, I get these errors:
Good evening all,
I hope this has not been covered yet, i did search but did not see anything that would help.
I am doing a fresh install of Fedora 33 and CQRLOG and have rig control working fine with Hamlib 4. I updated Hamlib as per another post (https://www.cqrlog.com/node/3071)
I installed CQRLOG on a freshly updated raspi. I get the MySQL error on startup. Here is the error log:
2021-01-08 14:13:50 1996128048 [Note] InnoDB: innodb_empty_free_list_algorithm has been changed to legacy because of small buffer pool size. In order to use backoff, increase buffer pool at least up to 20MB.
I am an Ubuntu user. I currently run with Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS version.
I have tried several times to update my hamlib to recognize my IC-7610 but have not been successful.
I have tried upgrading hamlib 3.3, hamlib 3.2 (this one doesn't have the configure file), hamlib 4.0.
When I ask him to give me a list of the transceivers he has in rigctld -l I get the following error:
rigctld: error while loading shared libraries: libhamlib.so. 4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
If I do synaptic it appears that it runs with version 3.1.7
CQRLOG 2.3 on Raspberry Pi 4 Buster.
I moved my log over from a Windows PC. Everything is working. I uploaded all to Clublog on the other PC. When I go to mark all uploaded I get the error message:
"Could not mark QSO as uploaded: TMySQL56Connection:: Error executing query: Data too long for column 'CMD" at row 1
Any ideas?

Good evening,
I tried to upload my adif to hamqth via script proposed by Petr (https://www.hamqth.com/developers.php#log_upload) after closing cqrlog on a fresh install on lubuntu 18.4.
What I am receiving ist

The document has moved here.
Apache/2.4.18 (Ubuntu) Server at hamqth.com Port 443
Anyone with an idea what I am missing? Script worked from my old computer.
After many manipulations with alpha version i have a problem
Error:
TMySQL57Connection : Error executing query: Can't create database 'cqrlog_common' (errno: 2 "No such file or directory").
I reinstall CQR Log with this instructions
After update cqrlog from git OH1KH i have problem with remote wsjt-x mode. In this mode i use JTDX and after closing this program cqrlog send message about Access violation. I press OK and nothing will do. If i press Abort btn - CQLlog was closed.
I am thinking about a Raspberry pi, my question is, will thers be continuing support and updates for the pi? I know that the current version of CQR log is in need of updating because of the new Ubuntu and Mint versions, will this update effect pi? And if not will any effort go into maintaining and updates for pi? I believe Buster is similar to Debian, nit sure how similar, but it would seem perhaps the dependencies may be different, not sure, I am no expert with this, but I lime the idea of pi because of power consumption as my shack is off grid, thanks! Web Login still works with the same combination.
cqrlog beta version
Have been using CQRLOG with a TS-590 via single USB cable for some time. The Hamlib and Rigctld worked and even had CW keying etc.
Howdy,
I'm using Linux Mint 20. JTDX V2.2.0-rc155, CQRLOG v2.4.0 (127).
Is there a list of switches for the command line when starting CQRLOG? Similar to the debug switch.
Dears,
My IC-7300 working well with CQRLOG (frequency and Mode change), but allways change the Filter to FIL3.
Any body know how to solve?
rigctl -m 373 -r /dev/ttyUSB0 -t 4531 -s 19200 --set-conf=dtr_state=OFF,rts_state=OFF

Hi
I managed to install cqrlog in a brand new laptop running Ubuntu 20.04.
Once getting it working with mariadb instead of mysql, I tried to update the application according to https://github.com/OH1KH/cqrlog/tree/loc_testing/compiled but I receive the following error when trying to unzip the files:
I would love to have the ability to set up more than two rigs in TRX control. I currently have 3 HF rigs capable of CAT but can only have 2 set up at a time. That means I have to change the settings to a different rig if I want to us the 3rd rig with TRX control. I'm sure many others have more than 2 rigs they would like to have permanently available in TRX control!

Hello CQRLOG users ! I am recently converted to Linux Mint (3 weeks of using it intensively in parallel with W10 for not loosing data). I am so impressed by the installation of CQRLOG! It took me 10 seconds to install it. Let's get into it. Happy New Year to the Linux / CQRLOG community !
