Hi,
i have the impression that with my CQRLOG version "2.5.2 (001) 21-10-11" the function "Callsign alert" in DXCluster via "/usr/bin/notify-send ..." does not work.
Can anyone confirm this?

Hello,
One simple question : it's possible to update the "Contest name" list ?
I know it’s a Notepad list, but is it possible to add some to the list?
Thanks.

Today when I went to start CQRLOG on my Archive machine, I got an error about starting MYSQL. Looking into databases/mysql.err, I found that the error was probably caused by a failure to shutdown correctly the previous session.
I had this problem before, and the only common factor was what I was doing at the end of the last session: deleting several old log databases. I think I dropped 4 or 5 old test cases, then canceled the selection window and exited.
I ran across an LSB net operating on 3.970MHz, and worked a few stations, one of which wanted to log Alaska.
Attempting to log the QSO with rig control enabled, cqrlog prevented me from logging the frequency - I had to fudge it to 3.800MHz to save the log entry.
Can we bump the allowed frequencies on 80m to 4.00MHz (or 3.998) for region 2 operators?
Thanks! CQRLOG is great software, and I really appreciate its being available.
I'm using the 2022-01-20 verson of 2.5.2, built from source.

Hello CQRLOG,
I'd like to announce an interesting issue using DXCluster and Callsign alert.
I'am monitoring some callsigns, e.g. DL1AB.
Today suddenly I got a spot from DL1ABC!
It seems the last letter(s) of the callsign is not checked?

Hello,
In new qso window, QSL_S field has OR and OQRS.
What does 'OR' mean ? Oqrs to be Request ? --> an OQRS request is on going ? like SB, SD,...Sx?
This 'OR' tag doesn't appear in QSO list, menu QSL, QSL Sent. Why?
Thanks.

Linux Mint 20.3 here. Been Linux Mint user (after Ubuntu) for 10 yrs+. Never used MySQL that I am aware? though it's updated automatically and is current. (Can dual boot into Win7-10 in five machines I tend to, but NEVER DO MS ANYMORE.)
However, the first, most basic simple thing that yall take for granted has me stumped. namely what to do at the MySQL server "Database Connection" screen when I open CQRLog for the first time. The default server name of 127.0.0.1, and port 64000 are pre-assigned. Is this OK to get going? Suggestions or recommendations?

Hi,
if you move a longer bandmap with the scrollbar to the beginning of the band or an upper Band segment, the bandmap stays in this position.
If a call is now selected, the bandmap jumps back to the end of the band.
From my point of view it would be better if the bandmap would remain in the once selected position (band start or band section), because otherwise you have to move the bandmap up again and again, if you want to select after an QSO several calls from the selected area one after the other.

Hello,
I have an odd issue that I haven't noticed before.
I am running CQRLOG 2.5.2 (001)
TQSL is 2.5.9.
When i work QO-100 and make a spot, i check "Use RX frequency for DX spots"
I set the RX freq to 10489.500 MHz. but the spot that is uploaded appears as "489000KHz"
Hi everyone,
Recently I had to switch computers and moved the folder ~/.config/cqrlog from the old computer to the new one. However, when I launch CQRLOG, I get the error shown down below...
Unfortunately, I don't have any backup of my LOGs.
My system is Debian Buster with CQRLOG 2.5.2 (001)
"Error during connection to database: TMySQL57Connection : Server connect failed."
Then, opening as suggested, the file mysql.err, the last lines (earlierlines are from dates previous to installation) show:
I found a bug in CQRLOG. It's probably not common but here it goes:
In 1995 I lived in El Salvador and I was YS1ZV. My US Call is WC4H and my CQRLOG db is only for WC4H.
Forward to today:
I downloaded the LoTW confirmations (for WC4H) and received the message that 2 QSOs were not in my log but were in LoTW.
The two QSOs were in 1995 so I was very suspicious.
I went to LoTW and saw that the 2 QSOs were for YS1ZV and were indeed confirmed on the date the error message said.
Hello everyone,
I'm using cqrlog to enter my QSOs from a paper log.
As I am not using the software while having the QSO I always use the "Offline" mode for entering date and time.
Since the newest version the checkbox always resets after entering a new QSO, in the previous version the checkbox stayed checked.
This makes the use of the program more difficult as one always has to re-tick the checkbox before entering a new QSO.

Hello,
I have several QSOs not logged in CQRLOG which are in eQSL ADIF file that are not written in eQSLerror file.
Regarding fImportProgress.pas :
Flag qso_in_log := False; shall be put just after SQL query, because if the previous is in the log (true) but current qso is not in the log, the error file is not updated.
Thanks for your help,

Hello,
If eQSL qso has a Time_on = 0000,
t_eQSL_min = t_eQSL_max = 01:00:00
so the eQsl is not imported.

Hello,
Cqz,ituz, iota, grid, state, county are automatically filled during Lotw import if the field is empty.
Is it possible to tick an option to have the choice to import or not these fields within Window "Import from LoTW web site" ?
Thanks a lot.

Hello,
Is there a solution to avoid importing field like locator from LoTW ?
For example, I would like to keep locator empty field (or with existing data), but not replaced by value coming from LoTW.
I don't see (in source files) the rule of which fields are replaced or not from import.
Thanks a lot,

I'm new to using CQRLog and was interested in using it with my IC-705. I think I can connect it to the radio via Flrig but I noticed that as of yet there doesn't seem to be a way to connect directly from CQRLog. Am I missing something. It seems to be a fantastic program by the way and using it with a Raspberry Pi

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that after the last update, see Wish List-Skipping Data Fields, the cursor does not return to the call input field after a contact is logged?
Hi,
Since I transitioned to Fedora 35 I have a problem with the character set (probably related to MariaDB).
When I type in UTF-8 characters (as swedish å,ä and ö) the form will accept the characters but as soon as I save the post or edit an old entry, CQRLOG displays some good old 7-bit substitutes.
