First i am having issues getting CQRLog to see the flex. i do not have problems with any other logging program i have tried. wsjt-x works perfectly fine for it so i feed cqrlog with that. but i was wondering if anyone has a trick to getting the flex to work properly with cqrlog itself.
second i am having the dreaded issue of cqrlog disconnecting from my db and only finding out when i try log a contact in wsjt-x or when i try close the program.
even with the issues i do like the program.
PopOS 21.04
Flex 6400M
cqrlog 2.5.1
Does anyone know how to reach out to the upstream maintainer for the Arch AUR? I reported three months ago that all three ways to install cqrlog leaves you with the inability to create a new database. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
Dear,
For some reason a big number of QSOs in my log has the “QSL sent date” filled.
I tried to use the “group edit” to clean it up but it doesn’t work… the return is that I have to enter a valid date.
Is there a way to get empty that field (in a group base)?

So I checked the box but now realize there are configuration options on that start page and once I checked the "open recent log after program start" I cannot UN check it. The page just loads to fast for me to hit the check mark.
I can't find it in preferences anywhere.
Thoughts?

Since 31 October, my CQRLOG loading to HRDLOG has stopped working. Nothing was changed in the settings of either software. My HRDLOG codeword is confirmed as correct and entered in the CQRLOG preferences. Recent QSOs are still entering CQRLOG correctly, but not appearing in HRDLOG.
However, on every new CQRLOG entry, since 31 October, I get the same error message - cannot delete the entry of 7L8RU. And no QSO entered in HRDLOG since then.
To check HRDLOG, I manually have entered an ADIF file into HRDLOG with my November QSOs, and that worked.
Hello:
I recently updated my Raspberry Pi software to
PRETTY_NAME="Ubuntu 21.10"
NAME="Ubuntu"
VERSION_ID="21.10"
VERSION="21.10 (Impish Indri)"
VERSION_CODENAME=impish
I pulled the GIT version of CQRLOG and am attempting to run
Cqrlog Ver:2.5.2 (001) Date:2021-11-12
I'm receiving an error that cqrlog cannot connect to the database because it cannot find the default MySQL library libmysqlclient.so.20. or libmysqlclient.so
I checked and this version of Ubuntu is running libmysqlclient.so.21.
I have a problem with junk in one QSO record when using the date filter on importing ADIF.
I use a small live file for operating(on my laptop), then import this into a fully merged log on my desktop machine. On the laptop, I changed the export spec to use 'Oldest entries on top', and now when I import and filter out everything but the last couple of days, the first imported QSO gets the leftovers from the skipped entries in (at least) IOTA, State, QSL VIA, etc.
Looks like these fields aren't cleared when the other QSOs are skipped.
Hello.
Has anybody managed to install CQRLOG on Manjaro on a Raspberry Pi 4B (8GB RAM).
I appear to have installed it but I get "cannot execute binary file: Exec format error"
I think that the only available archlinux packages that I found are for amd64 not aarch64.
Thanks.

Hi to all!
Using Cqrlog Ver: 2.5.2 on ubuntu 20.04.3 Gnome 3.36.8
I Trying to understand this little problem I think occurred after a system update released last week.
When I open CQRLog I get a pop-up message saying "CQRLog is not responding" and I can choose to click "Force Quit" and "Wait". I click on wait, I wait about 30 -40 seconds and Cqrlog opens regularly!
if I run the cqrlog program from the console, this happens:
cqrlog --debug
Gtk-Message: 17:07:41.281: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"
Hi,
For quick access to someone's QRZ.com profile, why not include a link after entering call sign into "new QSO" window, or extra column with the link after saving the QSO details?
Thnx
Hi,
Would it be possible to implement greyline function into xplanet?
The greyline as it is now, has a terrible map res. And tried to change the map to something better as explained how to do so in other topic, but that doesn't work.
Xplanet has a nice function, is to display spots from Dxcluster.
Thnx
Is there a way to print mailing labels (i.e. just the mailing address rather than the whole QSL info) from CQRLOG? I've filled out my QSL cards by hand, but it would be nice if I could print the mailing labels.
Hi All,
Using MSHV (2.60) under linux with Cqrlog logger, has been av bit challenging due to the fact that the cqrlog wsjt-x CQ-monitor window does not monitor UDP packages from MSHV. Logging QSOs from MSHV into Cqrlog using UDP works OK, however.
I am no programmer, but reading a post from PA5KT Henk on the MSHV forum av few days ago gave me a clue. I learned that MSHV uses mode identifiers in header that differs from WSJT-X and JTDX. With this information I ventured into the cqrlog source code that I have downloaded from github, and I think I found a solution.
Sometimes when searching (control + f) for a callsign on my QSO list, CQRlog kills itself/hangs, a small dialog window shows up, but with nothing inside.
After some seconds CQRlog just closes or if not I need to kill the process.
This has been happening for years and never found a solution.
I use the latest CQRlog too. 2.5.2(001).
Any ideas?
In filter options could be good to have option to disable from showing spots of beacons frequencies (MHz): 14.100, 18.110, 21.150, 24.930, 28.200.

Hi,
Any idea to exclude rbn qrgs (e.g. 14.100MHz) from rbn monitor's list?
Thanks,

I am having trouble uploading to online logs since my update to 2.5.2. In this update, I had to reimport my old QSOs via adif and so I may have lost some of the old configuration.
I am getting the following errors on debug (looks like "missing band" on ClubLog and "Unable to find QSO on HRDLog:
I have moved house and changed my QTH details on preferences, but when I log a new contract it is not showing distance, direction etc. Help would be appreciated.
Here are the settings I am using to get CQRLOG and my K4 transceiver talking.
