Ubuntu 22.04 upgrade broke several things

I recently upgraded my Ubuntu installation from 20.04 to 22.04. I have some problems. First, I am getting an error with every QSO save, "Access Violation". If I choose ignore, the QSO will save but it adds another "click" to continue. A second problem is that under TRX control, the list for "Rig Model" has disappeared. Hamlib updated to version 4.3. Not relating directly to CQRLog, but I also can't run /usr/bin/cqrlog from the command line. It does nothing. I can run with sudo, but then it is running as root and not with my information. HELP!

Partially solved the problem. Update to 2.6.0 corrected the "Access Violation" issue. I still have no rig listings under TRX control for "Rig Model"

Hi Charles,
I hope your problem is solved since last year, but as I'm going through all "22.04" threads, having problems to get my install running, for info: rigctl and rigctld now install to /usr/local/bin/ and not /usr/bin/ as before.

Hi Charles!

if you ever have started Cqrlog with sudo you should check the ownership of your Cqrlog files.

sudo chown -R your_username.your_username /home/your_username/.config/cqrlog

Never start Cqrlog as root (or with sudo) It will not run properly and after that you have file ownership problems.

Check also that in folder /usr/share/cqrlog the folder itself and all files and subfolders are readable by all
( sudo chmode -R 755 /usr/share/cqrlog )
