CQRLOG - bugs

UBUNTU12.04/XFCE - CQRLOG do not start - solved -

I changed to the XFCE desktop - better usage for me as in other KDE/Unity ...
Start of CQRlog (1.2.x and now 1.5.2) is not possible - it show only a yellow window and nothing more.
Do someone more have this behaviour?
The whole ubuntu 12.04LTS was reinstalled on a new laptop with Nvidia graphic card (duo Core 2.5 Ghz) - how to find the "problem"?

Greetings PEter DF1LX
(on my old laptop it was working using KDE Desktop - but only 1.6 Ghz Dell Laptop single core, standard laptop graphic card)

Show QSO only shows 500 of 860

Hi I have just added Cqrlog to my Ubuntu 12.10 machine
loaded a .adif file of about 860 qso's from 2001 to 2010
only part of what i need to work with
when i scroll down the "Show QSO" list it will only show back to
the 8th month of 2006 yet the .adif file that ive saved when closing
shows back to 2001..
when i took out a few of the dupe qso's more qso's show back toward the beginning of the .adif file
why is it only scrolling back to about 500 of the 860m qso's
tnx for your help

Becomes sluggish during heavy use. Also Hangouts refuse to work :( :( :(

I used CQRLog during CQWW. I had to restart the software a number of times (maybe four or five times a day?) due to it becomming sluggish over time. This is only a guess, but I was replying to CQ calls, so there were LOTS of times where I would have entered a call only to see it was a duplicate, so it's possible the problem may lie in the database search?

One other thing I did notice was Hangouts in Google+ refuse to work when CQRLog is running (Google Talk plugin seems to run slowly then refuses to join a hangout). If I quit CQRLog the hangout works as expected.

fnewqsodefvalues.pas is missing in source package / Debug error

Hello,
the source file 'fnewqsodefvalues.pas' is missing in source package. Is that a old/new file without relevance? I have deleted the loading of this file in cqrlog.lpi.
After starting the project breaks at line 865 in LCLProc
<code>
procedure RaiseGDBException(const Msg: string);
begin
  debugln(rsERRORInLCL, Msg);
  // creates an exception, that gdb catches:
  debugln(rsCreatingGdbCatchableError);
  DumpStack;
  if (length(Msg) div (length(Msg) div 10000))=0 then ;

Ubuntu 12.04/ Gnome 3.4.2 Strange behaviour

I just upgraded my main computer to 12.04 (32-bit) and Gnome 3.4.2 (I hate Unity with a vengeance!)
Everything works as expected except: if you minimize your "New QSO" window it just wont stay up again - it briefly opens the window, and the minimizes by itself again.

I have not seen this behaviour with any other applications.

Oh, just need to add: CQRlog version 1.5.2
And: Strange, I can't reproduce this on another machine with exact same configuration and SW! Anybody else seen something like this?
