Problems rigctld

Hi,

I don't know if it is a bug or a configuration Problem.
Since i updated to CQRLog 1.4.0 i have no CAT connection to my TS-870.
Never used rigctld before and i'm Linux Rookie. (Linux Mint 12, Kernel-Linux 3.0.0.12-generic, GNOME 3.2.1)
Starting CQRLog in Terminal, it shows as follows:

Settings:
-----------------------------------------------------
RigCtldPath:/usr/bin/rigctld
RigCtldArgs:-m %m -r %r -t %t -s
RunRigCtld: FALSE
RigDevice: /dev/ttyS0
RigCtldPort:4532
RigCtldHost:localhost
RigPoll: 500
RigSendCWR: FALSE
RigId: 210

rigctld started!

Empty Bandmap

Hello

After installing 1.4.0 on Kubuntu CQRLog 11.04, the window "band map" remains empty even the "DX Cluster"shows new spots.
Also Mode buttons on 'TRX control' don't change their colour to red follow to selected mode.

1.4.0 MODE doesn't work @ IC-706MKIIG

Hello,
i updated my cqrlog... 1.3.1 to 1.4.0 and see, the TRx control is changed.
rigctld works, but the mode is every time this i set up in preferences.
the checkbox is "AUTO". but if i switch to RTTY the mode is not changed.

can i set up it with commands/parameters of rigctld? there is -m %m and i think is ok.

Mode changed before frequency on K3

Hi Petr.

I have found that when double-clicking a call in either the band map or DX cluster windows that the mode is set before the frequency. I know that for some rigs this will not matter, however, it does matter on the K3. The result is that the rig sets the mode on the "old" band and then switches frequency to the "new" band using the previously used mode on that band. Often that results in a mismatch of SSB and CW in a given band segment.

1.3.1 fails to start on updated Debian Sid

Petr,

Somewhere along the lines with updated libraries on my Debian Sid box, CQRlog fails to start with the splash screen being simply a white rectangle and the program goes no further. There is a Debian bug report on the libcairo package which CQRlog links to and as it was causing text corruption in other programs I downgraded it. I noticed that libpangocairo is linked by CQRlog so I downgraded the libpango package as well. I still get the startup hang. Even starting from a terminal window shows no output and 'ldd' shows no missing libraries. I'm stumped.
