Could someone help me with the best way to populate the eqsl_sent and date fields. I have been a previous eqsl user and want to have the fields in cqrlog match the previously uploaded qso's from my previous log programme (dxkeeper). I have kept dxlab (dxkeeper) up to date so importing from there if I can get fields to match is an option.

I am having trouble with CQRLOG and HAMLIB / Rig control.
Since I upgraded CQRLOG some time ago from (I forget what version) to (I forget what version), the program has been unable to control my radio - FT-950 on ttyS0 which had it done quite successfully before.
I have just lived it with since. However, it is starting to bug me as to why it worked and then stopped.
XLOG, GRIG, and TLF work just fine with HAMLIB and I am able to read the frequency from the radio and set the frequency etc from these programs - only CQRLOG gives me a problem.
In the preferences, it is possible to select backgroundcolor for LoTW-/eQSL-users for the DX-Cluster.
Would it be possible to select seperatly colors for each ?
Right now it is not possible to "see" in the DXCluster who is LoTW-user directly,
because it could be an eQSL-user.
Maybe have different choices for the backgound color,
-LoTW only
-eQSL only
-Both LoTW and eQSL-user

Hello,
I have been meaning to ask about this for the past 6-9 months and am now wondering if this only bothers me: When USA and Canadian callsign information is returned from either hamqth or qrz, the City and St/Prov are separated by the zip code. I wonder if this keeps the city and state from being automatically filled in the QTH field in CQRLog. Only the city is automatically entered. Can the returned format be changed back to "City, State, zip code" instead of "City, zip code, State"? Also, can any other data be returned like "Lookup count" and possibly license class?

When I export QSOs to the ADIF-Format, the band-tag is always empty. But this is required when I import the file on the DARC-Homepage.

Hello,
Currently I'm testing cqrlog.
I've a problem when I export QSOs for label printing.
I go to the QSO list (pressing Strg+O), then
Menu QSO -> Export for Label Printing (ignoring the message, that there is no filter).
In the export window I check 'Export all QSOs' and klick the export button.
The the created file is empty (filesize = 0).
Currently I've 10 QSOs in the list (I'm testing)
I've downloaded different older versions, all are producing an empty file.

I have been trying to figure out my DXCC and QSL cards needed. I still have not figured out how to run some of the QSL/DXCC reports, but I did look at the DXCC Statistics. They are not quite making sense.... I have used two logging programs with the same ADIF file.
Here is what CQRLog says:

I have a central mysql server, so wanted to install CQRlog without installing mysql-server on the same machine. I removed the dependency from the .deb package so it installed without problem.
I also changed to SaveToLocal=0 in the config file, so CQRlog started finally.
But at startup, it wants to create several databases on the remote server.
So my question is what databases and privileges must be created on the remote server before running CQRlog?

HamLog iOS has a cloud sync feature, it would be neat to have CQRLOG interact with their system.

I just tried to connect a TS-590S with CQRLOG and found out that it only works with Hamlib model No. 216 (TS-570), but not model No. 231 (TS-590) for an unknown reason. But basic functions are working, so that's not a real problem for me. Has anybody successfully used model No. 231 yet?
And just for information for other TS-590 users who are using model No. 216:
Is it possible to use, now or in the future, flrig to get rig frequency, mode, etc into CQRLog? Since flrig can provide quick menu option changes, it would be nice to use it to also get rig data for CQRLog and at the same time use flrig to make menu changes without quiting rigctld and/or CQRLog.
Any insight or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you...

Here is some stuff I would like to see in CQRlog if possible:
- One tab in task manager for all windows - now every window has it's own tab, so with opening windows I need, task manager is filled up and opening any other programs/windows causes mess in task manager
- Not confirmed band/mode country (call that has been worked and in log) to be displayed in red (or any other) color in QSO list. That way it would be easier to track worked, but not confirmed countries in log.
- Creating custom awards RDA, French departments, DOK ... and showing them in statistics menu
Hello I have a fresh install of Debian Squeeze AMD64 and I have an issue with the package. It will install and works fine but apt system is all screwed up because your package requires libham (>= 1.2.14) and Debian Squeeze provides 1.2.11-1.
Logger seems to work fine on 1.2.11-1.
Hi, How do I go about deleting duplicate records from my log? I have uploaded a log from another logging program and there are now many duplicates in my CQRLog. Can't see an easy way in the manual.

I have set it up with LOTW and it works flawlessly both ways.
Now, I would like to get an auto to/from eQSL. I have no idea how to proceed. I upload my whole ADIF export every time and eQSL looks for duplicates. But, it is not elegant. Also, I eat eQSL server time unnecessarily. Also, I found no way to get my confirmations to the main log.

My cqrlog get crashed and I must import again my log.adi. But every time I lost my settings. Is there some option, how take out just settings?
If I have old data in my logbook and I must import some new file where is more new qso:s, it's strange, because it's import all qso's again, so then I have double qso in logbook. Is that possible make some string, that import only qso's what not in logbook at the moment?

After few days of using CQRlog and fldigi, I've noticed that CQRlog is not saving most recent QSO in QSO list when saved from fldigi. It saves QSO that is last in fldigi logbook, so recently saved QSO is saved only when newer QSO is saved by fldigi. And if few days pass and you save new QSO in fldigi, then previous QSO from fldigi logbook (which is not in CQRlog QSO list, as it was nothing saved after it) is saved in CQRlog QSO list with new date (not the one it was held); time and other data are OK.

today I watched "qso list" and my last entry there is 2011-12-04, but if I make new qso, that "qso in log" number will growing, but still that last day is same. If I looking for qso, I can find it.
I use different computer in my station, and there is same problem.
I import my qso's, but then in my log is double qso. And still last day is same.
Then I clear my log and import again, same thing again, but now I make again all my settings again.
I have Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.
Any idea how I will fix it?

I tried to connect my radio to CQRlog, it is working as I can see in the terminal, but it's not working with CQRlog so far. I use a usb-serial-converter, but I don't like this line while starting CQRlog:
serial_open: Unable to open FT-897 - No such file or directory
How can I specify the port? In this case it's /dev/ttyUSB0

I am trying to upgrade to 1.2.2 from .96. I exported and saved the ADIF file, then installed 1.2.2.
I am running Ubuntu 10.04.
After defining and opening the blank log, then using CTRL-O, I am not able to find the File|Import option on the of the menu. There is only a series of icons, and none of them has anything to do with importing files except for one which imports only from LOTW.
Any help importing the ADIF so I can upgrade would be appreciated.

I'd just like to know how I can sort/filter my QSOs for Band, DXCC etc. For example I want to see all stations from ZS I wkd on 160m. Is that possible? And is it possible to do a general sorting for DXCC? This would be very helpful in QSL-politics :-)
Since I imported 95% of my QSOs of the past 10 years (51k) it's quite difficult so get a statistic like that. What also would be nice is a statistic (maybe graphical?) QSO/Band. Means X% of my QSOs were made on Band Y or so.

Press Cancel to kill the program.
