Importing LOTW lets CQRLog lock up

Hi all,

At first I'd like to thank Petr for the email that helped me to log into these pages.

I have CQRLog set up and running. Everything seems to work fine so far except importing from LOTW. Both directly and local file lock up the programme and cause high CPU usage.

My guess is I must have overlooked something but to this point I can't seem to figure out what.

I have read about this issue in an older version but not with 1.4.1.
I am using Ubuntu 10.04 and fairly new to Linux. Does anyone have a clue of what is wrong with my set up?

Let me finish by saying I solved quite a bit of issues by myself but this one gives me the creeps...

Many thanks in advance,

Tjalling PA3GOS.

Re: Importing LOTW lets CQRLog lock up

Hello Tjalling,

this is a bug in cqrlog. Please check if your LoTW password is correct and also look into ADIF file. CQRLOG hangs when ADIF files doesn't have right header. I'll fix it to new version.

Re: Importing LOTW lets CQRLog lock up

Hello Petr,

That solved the problem. I used the wrong password. Strange thing is that I got the message that logon was successful and a (small) .adi was downloaded. Nevertheless,
It's all fine now. Because of the message I would never have figured this out myself.

Thank you very much Petr.
