CQRLOG 21 apr 2016

Hi,

I just created the first testing version of CQRLOG 2.0.1.

CHANGELOG:

- fixed "TApplication.HandleException TControl.InvalidatePreferredSize loop"
- frequency memories didn't switch between AM and FM when the radio is on USB or LSB - fixed
- bandmap didn't show CW spots when radio was in CWR mode - fixed

I've created both 32bit and 64bit versions.

http://www.cqrlog.com/files/beta/cqrlog_20160421_i386.tar.gz

Please try it and let me know. Small how to is described here: http://www.cqrlog.com/node/1526

Hi Petr,

Thank you so much. I will tomorrow. Need my sleep now.

Hi again Petr,

Just gave it a shot and it does switch modes alright. However, I have to click several times to either change Memory Channel at all and then it's still a "wild guess" which channel is chosen.
I have programmed three channels now. 5420 AM, 5365 USB and 18130 USB. If I click Mup or Mdwn, sometimes I hear the radio beep but nothing changes. Other times, the frequency and mode change but a random channel seem to be chosen. So there is no logical response.

Here is my DEBUG 1:

Looks pretty normal but it seems as if no command is sent to the radio sometimes. This is not apparent in the logfile.
I also tried to set bandwidth but that does not help either.

Hope this is helpful.

Hi Petr,

It looks as if all memory channels are working in the right order if Mdwn is used. Although sometimes the radio (TS-850) refuses to change frequency.

Just an addition to my findings so far.

I also tried to create an out.txt but I get "admission denied" in terminal. Also as sudo same thing.

Rigctld

Seems, that randomly, when closing cqrlog, rigctld stays up. And when start
cqrlog, trx control does not work. Very hard to reproduce, but it happens. Solution
is, close cqrlog, kill rigctld pid and start cqrlog again, then should work.

Mode Change Question?

I've just noticed in the current version ver 2.0.1 (001), that if I change mode directly on the rig front panel or in Rig Control window (FT-2000), the mode doesn’t change in the New QSO window. Changing mode in Rig Control window does change the Rig's mode, changing mode in the New QSO window does not. Is this expected behaviour ?

So far so good on 2.0.1 Petr, I'm running on Mint 17 server (house) / Mint 17 client (shack) all seems well - not using rigctl or hamlib so no help there. I'll let you know if anything goes south!
