CQRLOG - bugs

interesting country behavior with DXCC and edit QSO with 2.6.0

Hello

I'm not sure if this is useful information, but something that I found interesting. This could be a purely local issue, but since I'm running a GIT pull I thought I'd mention it just in case.

I'm running cqrlog Ver:2.6.0 (001) Gtk2 Date:2022-07-05 compiled locally. My local system is Debian Bullseye, fully up to date. I run one copy of cqrlog on my FT8 computer, and another on my my main computer where the database is. Both copies showed the same behavior.

CW Key interface keeps popping up.

I have no CW-interface installed or defined.

Somehow during startup the CW-keyer popup telling me that I have no interface defined.

Looks to me I triggered to make the CW-keyer interface keep popping up while I have nothing configured.

No idea how this happened, but I can't turn it off. The F12 function keeps comming at every start.

This is a bug, as it is telling me there is no interface, I know, but can't turn it off.

Rotorcontroll timed_out

Good evening,
got a new easy rotor controll (ERC4 USB) kit built by today, had it flashed to use the GS232A protocol. Rotor control is working flawlessly by pressing the short path / long path buttons. Unfortunately if pressing turn left/right buttons results in errors and the rotator is not moving.
I started the rotctld by /usr/bin/rotctld -m 601 -r /dev/ttyUSB2 -s 9600 -t 4533 -vvvvv and see a

Upload to clublog & HRDlog suddenly stopped working

Hello All,

After years of almost flawless function, the upload to online logs suddenly stopped working today.
Whenever I enter a new QSO or update (edit) an existing QSO the status window shows "All QSO already uploaded".

The result is of course negative, the QSO is not uploaded.
I started CQRlog in debug mode, but this doesn't give much information either:
select * from upload_status where logname='ClubLog'

select * from log_changes where id > 1823 order by id

Stopping UDP Frequency actualization via CAT

Hi there,

thanks for great programm. I'm using 2.6.0 with Icom IC-706 MK II with CAT Control.
"TRX Control" is set to the right rig, Device /dev/ttyUSBx is selected with poll rate of 500 (already changed to other counts), port number is 4532 and Run rigctld is activated, no more options selected.

CQRLOG shows current Frequency set on the rig wheel, after few seconds actualizing the Frequency in CQRLOG stops.

When starting CQRLOG from console, poll is announced every selected time (500ms or so):

Poll Sending: +f +m +v

Can't open .cnf file

I experience the following issue when running the command "cqrlog -debug=1" from the command line...

Could not open required defaults file: /home/rich/.config/cqrlog/database/mysql.cnf
Fatal error in defaults handling. Program aborted
TMySQL56Connection : Server connect failed.

That's it.

I don't see a search function in the forum, so I am at a loss on how to proceed.

Wrong frequency shown in Frequency field in New QSO window

HI

After several years of happy usage, suddenly the frequency field shows wrong values. For instance, I have my IC7300 now tuned in 7190 and field shows 153.040. I move the dial and the frequency on the field changes but with wrong values.

And amazingly I call wsjtx from the application and frequencies of FT8 QSOs are transferred and shown properly.

No changes in the configuration were made, at least on purpose. My Hamblib version is 4.5.
I have the following parameters in TRX control window:
