Anyone else noticed, when type letters into window, radio
sends letter twice?
Yes, I have removed IBUS from my Fedora 27...
My .adi file import does not seem to work.
1. I exported nearly 27k qso's from DXLab and put on USB drive. (Cruzer blade 32GB)
2. Imported into CQRLog and ticked "more than 10k qso's"
3. Import says 22439 done (but more than 4k qso's missing).
4. No log update to cqrlog i.e. no qso's showing in log and no errors reported.
I just installed cqrlog and am trying to install from terminal sudo apt-get install libmysqlclient-dev. This has been mentioned before in the forum as being necessary to get cqrlog to run.
When I enter the command, terminal then asks for my password but it will not allow me to type it in.
Am using a fresh installation of Ubuntu 16.04. Any ideas why I cannot type my password?

Hello Everybody!
I am trying to use CQRLOG since a few months, and I am convinced now that Lotw support in CQRLOG is completely broken. There are a number of issues, which I am going to describe in detail below:
1. The QSO filter is completely ignored in Lotw export
2. QSOs are not marked as exported to Lotw
Greetings,
I just recently installed cqrlog from the ppa on an Ubuntu 17.10 machine.
I get the following error when I try to launch:
Error during connection to database: TMySQL56Connection can not work with the installed MySQL client version: Expected (5.6), got (5.7.21).
This is a correct statement, as my machine does have mysql 5.7.x packages installed. What's the easiest way to proceed?

Hi,
Whenever I try to scroll through the QSO List history to earlier than 02/06/2018 I get a "TApplication.HandleException Access violation" error and the CQRLOG GUI freezes and goes gray. I also noticed that this coincides with a higher load on the CPU (1.0-2.0) when the loads are typically around .5 so not sure if that has anything to do with it. One of the things I tried to correct this was increasing the innodb buffer from 80M to 128M, but that had no noticable affect and resulted in the same error.
After a sudden power outage my db got corrupted.
What can I do?
Thanks

Previously, I was working with two logs and in process of keeping CQRLOG as my primary logger.
Working with the two logging programs, I learned the hard way that if QSO's aren't exactly the same, you will end up with duplicates, which I have.
In trying to update my log upload in CQRLOG, I wanted to only update the newest QSO's I had. I highlighted the ones that were already uploaded so I wouldn't create even more duplicates in LOTW, and marked them as uploaded to all logs. In doing so, I believe it marked ALL of my QSO's as being uploaded.
I am missing 1 QSO out of 1015. Is there a way to import from adif backup and reject all dupes?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks
Hi,
for some reason I pressed the wrong button in the logbook selection window during startup.
Now every time I tried to start a "Database connection" window appeared.
It asked for Server name (127.0.0.1), Port (64000), User name (cqrlog), password (blank)
Further down there are no more of my logs appearing.
If I press connect, an error window appears:
Error during connection to database: TMySQL57Connection : Server connect failed.
Hi,
Being a relative newcomer to Linux (I am using Mint 18.2 Cinnamon) i have successfully installed CQRLOG and JTDX. They work fine together, but now I would like to use CQ-monitor to provide audible alerts. I have studied the document CqrlogAdditions2, but I need something more explicit (for a newbie) about how to install the sounds. What exactly is "my" script and how/where do I install it?
Thanks for any help in guiding me.

World Wide Flora Fauna is getting popular. Is it possible to insert "WWFF" field to CQRLog? Now I use "QTH"-field to input WWFF references. "Filter" function is handy to see worked references. 73 Timo OH7JHA
Hi!
I have some trouble runnung cqrlog 2.2.0 on a hidpi screen.
The download binary of cqrlog 2.2.0 is compiled for gtk2 and does not work properly in my kde environment (KDE 5.41, Plasma 5.11, QT 5.10). So I decided to recompile cqrlog with lazarus 1.8.0, fpc 3.0.4 and qt5 as LCL backend.
The result is really encouraging. Except the mutch to small font in the input fields. How can I fix that?

PS: I would have added a screenshot, if I could find out, how to upload a file :-[
I run Ubuntu 16.04 and this the error I get when cqrlog starts:
Error during connection to database: Can not load default MySQL library ("libmysqlclient.so.16" or "libmysqlclient.so")
I would appreciate some help, thank you!
As TRX control is working it should be easy to add a possibility to tune to the frequency from RBN window via doing double click on an entry or in popup menu on right click.
Thanks in advance!
I've tried everything and can't seem to get Epiphany to start when I click on the button to see someone's profile in QRZ.com, CQRlog insists on opening Firefox, even though I've got epiphany entered in the preferences. I've also got Epiphany as the default browser in the system.
Any ideas please?
I have now compiled current test source (2.2.0-106) to i386 binary.
How ever it is done in remote server, so I can not do further testing than program starts and menus work.
You'll wind both x86_64 and i386 binaries now from http://www.saunalahti.fi/~sakny/bin/cqrlog2/

I am running Mint 18.3 and on a system update it asked me if I would update openssl. So upon saying yes, it then stated to me that CQRLOG and CQRPROP were going to be removed along with libssl. Is there any work around for this?
Thanks

I now have character echo on all input fields in CQRLog 2.2.0... command line, callsign entry, sign in to DX Cluster, etc. Perhaps I toggled something but I can't determine where that may have happened. This issue only occurs in CQRLog.

I believe a great feature to the Bandmap would be to allow the stations listed in several columns (instead of like now, just one column).
Probably as much as 6 columns, operator could resize Bandmap and display 6 columns.

I have three separate logs under my call on CQrlog (please don't ask why) and I would like to combine them into one log. There are a lot (thousands) of duplicates between the three logs. Is there an easy way to do this? The only way I can think of is to export ADIF out of two of the logs and then import ADIF into the other. Then remove all the dupes which may take a long time to do.
Ideas?

I forgot to start wsjt-x in cqrlog-remote mode and had some QSO. I decided to import wsjt.adi as I did when starting using cqrlog and then remove duplicates.
What I found is that all existing logs were doubled afterwards. Import adi: time_on different from time_off. Existing cqrlog: time_on = time_off. Removing dups seems to look on time_on and so did not remove anything. eqsl logs now are doubled too :(
Linux Station Kubuntu 17.10:
cqrlog 2.2.0(001) (rigcontol disabled)
wsjt-x 1.8.0 (latest release, rigcontrol enabled)
