Hi Petr-
Just wanted to let you know that I've been using CQRLog for about six months and like it very much! No problems or bugs to report.
Thanks for making such a fine program available to the amateur community!

Hello--
I installed CRQLOG 0.8.2 on 2 Ubuntu PCS, problems with both.
CASE 1 --- Ubuntu 8.1 (32 bit), 3 GB memory, Athlon 64 Dual core 5000+== program runs very slow.
Case 2-- Ubuntu 8.04, 1 GB memory, Intel Celeron M, 1.5 GHz--- program opens to first screen (straight key) then goes no further.
any reasons for this on my end?
Thanks for help.

Hi everyone:
I am a new user of CQRLOG. I come from a WinXP background, and formerly used N3FJP's ACLog. I made the decision a a couple of months ago to move to Linux for my shack PC. I discovered however that while his program ran well under Wine, I could not get the LOTW up/downloads to work properly- that was my main impetus for finding a native Linux logging app.
First let me say thanks for the great product. I have the latest stable release (0.8.2) installed.
I am not sure if my connectivity issue is cqrlog or hamlibs.
I fired up the rig then fired up the computer.
Confirm cable connected.
When I start cqrlog
[george@klocalhost cqrlog]$ ./cqrlog
Starting CQRLOG ...
Rig is not OK
Rig is not OK
The user is in the uucp group which the device is writable for that group.
[george@localhost cqrlog]$ ldd ./cqrlog
linux-gate.so.1 => (0x0012a000)
libpthread.so.0 => /lib/libpthread.so.0 (0x00d21000)
I would think that showing a station that is worked for the DXCC statistics would be excellent, like what is implemented in the WAC and WAS awards.
Running cqrlog 0.8.1, hamlib 1.2.9, opensuse 11.0.
Here in the UK, local clock time at the moment = UTC+1. So, for example, the local time is 06:30 (displayed correctly in the system tray), making the UTC 05:30.
However, cqrlog displays the time as 04:30 in the "Start Time" and "End Time" boxes.
(By the way, fldigi reports UTC correctly).
Is there something in cqrlog I need to set up to get the correct time zone?

I get an "access violation" every time I open, then click OK to close the preferences screen. I get it even if I just open Preferences, don't change anything, then click OK. If I do change anything it "saves it" as when I restart the program and look at the preference item I changed, it shows that "the change took."
Anyone know what might cause this? I'm running ver .2.8.1 of CQR, Ubuntu 9.04 and Hamlib 1.2.9.

xplanet does not refresh cluster spots. I have set to refresh every 5 seconds and show last 20 spots, but there is about 80 spots on xplanet map and keeps growing. I have to close cqrlog to clear the spots.

Hi Everyone,
I have a microham USB CW keyer which also has a RS232 interface and reads the radios data.
Can this work with CQRLog and if so how can I configure CQRLog?
Is it possible to us a USB to RS232 cable to control the radio in CQRLog?
Again if so how do I configure?

I'll report a bug in NEW QSO insertion mode....
sometimes when I create a new qso the DXCC ref. field remain void
and when I save the qso end re-edit it, the field is updated correctly...
thank you
bye, mauro
I think that actual scrolling mode on the qso list interface is not good...
I wish a real time scrolling mode like any other classic scroll window
is this possible ?
Hi,
I am unable to maximise the CQRlog screen and as such cant see the bottom couple of centimetres of the screen.
This makes the "Save QSO" button unavailable. I have changed screen resolution but this does not fix it.
I am relatively new to Linux but hoping to make it work.
I can be reached at ctmegaw@gmail.com if this is a simple problem and private tuition is necessary! I also have a screen shot of the problem if anyone would care to look.
Cheers
Chris

Preferences windows will not close when pressing OK and seems to freeze the program. Force quit is only way to close CQRLOG
Hello,
I'm not sure if this is an intended change or not, but I now notice that if I use the arrow keys to move through the fields in the new QSO window, the program works as before when in the RST fields where the center number is selected, but when moving on to the Name field, the whole name is not selected as before (v.0.7) when QRZ info prefills the fields. I liked it when the whole name was selected especially when, say, someone goes by their middle name; I found it easier to retype names as opposed to pressing and holding "delete" and then making the changes.
My Ubuntu 9.04 system worked fine with 0.80 when logging with fldigi. With 0.81 however, the frequency data does not pull in from fldigi. It always keeps the original cqrlog frequency data when starting up the program.
Hi everyone,
I am using Fedora FC11 64bit, all libs etc are 32bit format as far as I can tell.
I have been using CQRLog for nearly 2 years without any problems until now... it's a fantastic piece of software... thank you guys!
Here is the output when I install using the terminal as a user:
[berni@mylinux install]$ ./cqrlog_install.sh
CQRLOG self extracting installer
./files.tar
./install
(install:3125): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "glide",
Thanks for the help Martin
I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 and Hamlib 1.2.9.
I was able to get a debut report:

I've updated to hamlib 1.2.9 and edited the configuration file. I'm not able to run the debug program or the main program for the command line. I navigated to the proper folder and even tried running under sudo. Any ideas?
Thanks, Ray AA3DW
I can't connect to the TRX Manager. The settings are correct, I can use fldigi through the remote interface. I'm using:
Rig id 1607
1200 baud
/dev/ttyS0
8 data
1 stop
no parity
no handshake
Different polling times from 50 to 500
I'd appreciate any suggestions
Thanks Ray AA3DW
Access Violation with rebuild DXCC Statistics and DXCC button does not work.
Installed a running OK on Ubuntu 9,04 Jaunty, however, the greyline display is incorrect. My time is correct in the log, but the greyline display appears about 6 hours behind time. For instance, last night about 10pm EDT (south Florida) the grey line was still showing mid-Atlantic. Also I don't under the off-sets for sun rise/sun set. Alos... in the DXCC window pane there are what looks like dates and time .. but no explanation. What are these... they don't seem to relate to current time.
Works fine with my FT-847 but not with the Orion 2.
When starting grig instead (grig -m 1608 -s 57600 -r /dev/ttyUSB0 -p -P) I get a segmentation fault:

I installed the newest version of cqrlog by downloading the installation program. I am running Ubuntu 9.04. I used the default directory of /home/roy/cqrlog . When I try to run the program, I get an error message stating the program can't load library: /home/roy/cqrlog/lib/libfbembed.so.2.1.1 . That is as far as I can get. I have checked and the file does exist in the specified directory. Can anyone suggest the next step? Thanks.
