Changing Columns Displayed in QSO List

Perhaps I have missed this in the documentation somewhere, but is it possible to change the columns in the qso list display (File, Show QSO List) to display additional columns? I'd like to add the grid square for my VHF contacts.

Anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks.

Re: Changing Columns Displayed in QSO List

Hi Jim,

yes, it is possible. Go to Preferences, in the left part of the window click to Visible columns and you can choose what you want to see in QSO list.

Tried that but it didn't have any effect

This seems to only affect the recent QSOs list in the main "view qso" window. It does not have any effect on the large qso list window. Also, there doesn't appear to be any way to show the grid square. It's not one of the check boxes in the preferences. Am I in the right place?

Thanks.

Interesting. I just tried it and it is working. I can see station and own locator in QSO list window and also in small grid in New QSO window.

If you run program again, still without locator fields?

Nope

I tried several things, restarting the program each time. I was never able to make the grid show up in either QSO window. I'm running CQRlog in Ubuntu 10.04. It works fine otherwise. No other problems.

Anything you can think of that I might try?

Try This

Jim,

Make sure that 'Locator' is selected in File->Preferences->Visible columns. Then try resizing all of the columns one at a time.

I have seen this problem and found the column was added with no width and therefore hidden. Resizing each column I found the one that was hidden.

Hope this helps,

There are a number of columns

There are a number of columns I cannot get to display regardless of what I do. I'm going to characterize the problem further and I'll make a post with my results.
