Hello everyone,
I’ve just installed Ubuntu 26.04 LTS, and I’m getting the unsurprising message: “Error during connection to database: TMySQL57Connection: Server connect failed.”
With the new version of Ubuntu, is there a different way to install the MariaDB server?

Hi Saku !
Congratulation ! I have downloaded this file, and installed CQRLog without any problem ! My log is now fully imported into CQRLog !
But....
I use an FTDX‑101D transceiver, and with an older version of CQRLog, the transceiver turned on immediately after launching CQRLog.
Now, the TX stays off. When I turn the TX on manually and refresh the connection, the “Mode” field in the New QSO window shows the value “Main”, and W Wri is automatically selected in the TRX Control window.
My configuration :
Rig model : 1040
Device : /dev/ttyUSB0
and all options are in the default mode.
Do you have an idea?
Thanks.

Hi Geoffroy!
Nice to hear that script worked!
The old version talks to rig a bit different way than the latest Cqrlog_Improved.
I assume you have now latest available Hamlib as script install it from Ubuntu repository.
You could try to set the rig communication debug on and try to catch the traffic there.
Open Preferences/TRXControl at the bottom you see checkbox like this:

Check it and close preferences by pressing OK button. Then close Cqrlog.
Open your command terminal and type:
cqrlog > /tmp/debug.txt
After you have pressed enter Cqrlog opens normal way. Have your radio conneced and powered when pressing enter.
After you have opened your log and see that some communication has happended with Cqrlog and rig then close
Cqrlog normal way.
After that open your filemanager and find the debug.txt file from folder /tmp. Open it and check that there are some text lines to be sure that file is not empty.
Attach it to you next message pressing "choose file" button here in Forum just below the text area. When found press Upload button and it should be added to your message.
Other way is to send it to me via email. You willl find my address from callbooks.
