QRZ Fill-in To Existing QSO Problem

Hello,

With latest cqrlog version, I cannot press (F-6) like previous versions when editing an existing QSO to fill-in information. I import QSO's from another program regularly which doesn't have all fields filled in. I used to edit those QSO's in cqrlog and press (F-6) which forced a query on QRZ'd and filled in data to fields that didn't have anything in them.

I didn't know if this is an intentional process or bug.

Thank you...

Shortname slip in g-qrp-club membership list

Hi folks

I am new in this forum game and posted a temporary fix for my problem under Discussions while it
probably would find a better home here. Not much harm done, I hope.

Issue: Under Preferences > Membership selection we are presented with identical shortname;longname
G-QRP-CLUB;G-QRP-CLUB, while the %s.txt file in /members folder is named gqrpc.txt. I believe it is safest to leave the internals of the program to the team, therefore my little temporary.

Radio 1 / 2 Switching.... (Yaesu radios)

I have installed the new CQRLog 0.7. The radio control is MUCH better!! I have the program working with my FT-1000 and the FT-950.

FYI, XON/XOFF, DTR and RTS are all required! I did try a bunch of combos.

I do have the 1.2.9 hamlib.

If I bring up the program, what ever radio was configured on closure, will be the radio opening. When I try to switch, the debug screen shows: In inicializerig

Going into preferences and clicking ok, will wake it up. The TX Control refresh does not seem to fix it.

Any ideas??

Program locks up with rig control enabled

I'm running current cqrlog on Ubuntu 8.10. I have a Yaesu FT-950 and I've verified that hamlib is working very will with it (rigctl works fine and so do fldigi, etc).

Once I enable rig control in the software, the next time I open it the GUI opens but it just locks up. Here's the output of cqrlog -v:

[WARNING] Out of OEM specific VK codes, changing to unassigned
[WARNING] Out of OEM specific VK codes, assigning $FF
Starting CQRLOG ...
Config: /home/ryan/cqrlog/log_data/cqrlog.cfg

Thanks!

TRX-control of Ten-Tec Orion 2

CQRlog will not connect to it. The Orion is fixed at 57600 baud 8-bit, 1 stop, no-parity CTS/RTS hand shake enabled. Other programs like GRIG, using hamlib works fine with the Orion.
I suspect that something is broken in the implementation of handshake.

I'm using a USB to RS-232C adapter at /dev/ttyUSB0 on Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex.
