CQRLOG - bugs

arithmetic exception, numeric overflow, or string truncation on trying to enter specific QSO

To reproduce this bug, enter Callsign LX9FC, press [TAB], let CQRLOG autofill the fields like QTH and try to save the QSO.

What happens:
On clicking "Save QSO", this error message appears.

This is because of the QTH being an www address instead of a correct QTH. If this entry is cleared the error does not pop up.

Grid field remains blank

Hello Petr,

I'm using a membership text file as QTH Locator database as you have proposed. This works fine, but for some callsigns the grid field remains blank even though data is available in the text file.

Can you (and other users) please check if the same error occurs?

Here is a membership text file with callsigns and locators:

Settings in the preferences made as requested (first combobox "clubcall", second box "call", "Store this information into" to "grid" and "field:" %n)

TRX Control does not work proper

Hello,

I have two problems with the TRX Control of both IC-775 and FT-857.

1.
When in the main window the option Mode: [ ] AUTO is not marked and I doubleclick on spots within the Bandmap or the Cluster the TRX (Icom or Yaesu) changes the band, but not the mode. This does not work from CW to SSB and vice versa. Nothing special could be observed in the console if CQRLOG was started from there.

2.

TRX control not working with Rig model 2 (rigctld)

I had CQRlog working with Hamlib rig model 2 (C API backend that talks to rigctld) but then it quit working and all efforts to get it working again have failed. Upgrading to 0.9.2 a few minutes ago did not solve the problem. Direct radio access does work (FT-920, model 114) but then reverting it back to model 2 causes rig control fails.

My settings for model 2 are:

Device: localhost:4532
Model: 2
Poll: 1500

Here is the output from starting CQRlog in the terminal:
$ ./cqrlog
[WARNING] Out of OEM specific VK codes, changing to unassigned

Ubuntu 10.04 Alpha 3 problem

Hey! I was testing Ubuntu 10.04 Alpha 3 (kernel 2.6.32-15) and CQRLOG 0.9.1. Everything seems to be ok but "Preferenses" crash the CQRLOG. I opened CQRLOG via Console and tried to open "Preferenses". I got text:

ADIF Import Bug

Hello,

I am using version 0.9.1 and have found a problem with ADIF import.

I was importing some logs from another program and found that the 'QSLRDATE' field is not being imported. As far as I can tell all of the other fields are being imported correctly.

I did a test export and all fields, including "QSLRDATE" are being exported correctly.

<TAB> Key and RST

Something I have noticed on the past few versions is that when I use the key to attempt to highlight all RST digits, just the 'S' digit is highlighted as if I used the cursor keys. Is this only on my install or has anyone else noticed this?

Also - When moving to the Name field, the program used to highlight the whole name. So when QRZ pre-fills in the name, people like "Robert" who go by "Bob" are easier to change the name. Now the cursor is placed before the first character. I am not sure if these two, minor, issues are related.

73 and thanks...
