Question about Data from QRZ.COM

I'm using Version 1.5.2 under opensuse 12.2. I'm really lucky with it even for the fact that it runs under LINUX.
I found a few things that I don't know if it is wanted like it is.
1. If I want to edit the "RST" I found out, that I can not insert a Value like "599+10". The mask does not accept the "+" but the "-". This is not only for the plus from the numberpad but also for the plus from the letterkeyboard.
2. I'm registered in qrz.com. This database includes a lot of data relatet to the different callsigns. This includes values like the QTH, GRID and IOTA. Instead of using the correct position from the qrz.com database it takes a rough guess from the callsign i think. Therefore I have to edit the mentioned fields especially QTH and Grid manually.
3. Over here in Germany we have a lot of diplomas that are dependent on the number of qso's worked with the different stations that belong to special DOK's (e.g. Wesel where I live has the DOK no. L23). These diplomas are supported by the "DIG" (Diplom Interessen Gruppe) in Germnany and is interesting for many HAMs in the the world. The cqrlog database has not foreseen a special field for the "DOK". Maybe there is a possibility to add this to cqrlogs database?

Re: Question about Data from QRZ.COM

Hello Norbert,

RST accepts only letters and numbers but I can modify the program to let you use any character you want. I just wrote it to my TODO list.

I'm sorry, I don't have access to QRZ anymore. They deleted my whole profile a while after HamQTH went online. Please run CQRLOG from console and paste here the qrz xml output. I developed it according to manual at qrz website but it seems there are differencies.

I put DOK to award or Remarks field.

Re: Question about Data from QRZ.COM

Hello Petr,
thanks for the response. I appreciate very much that you put the rst problem onto yout todo list directly.
That the qrz.com guys deleted your profile from their list explains the missing data. Not nice but we have to accept the fact. I'll try to become a member in the HamQth database. Maybe that works.

Thanks and vy73

From what I can see from QRZ,

From what I can see from QRZ, their information is not always correct, I would not depend on the info from QRZ. they have alot of incorrect data.
