Compiling with newer lazarus

I have been trying to compile CQRLOG without much success. I downloaded lazarus 0.9.26 (not 0.9.24 as recommended) and got it working. Trying to install UIB gave me some compilation problems that I could get around by adding a type-cast that I'm not to sure is correct. Installing lnet was problem free.

Trying to comile cqr-log however also give compilation problems.

unfortunately I don't have my compilation machine close to here so I can't give any details for the moment.

Are there specific versions of uib and lnet that has to be used? I will download the older version of lazarus next week and try with that one instead.

I have no previous experience with lazarus but I have been using Delphi since version 1.0 in 1995. My plan was to make a windows version and, since source is available, also possibly to add whatever is needed to fit my needs.

Keep ut the good work!

Re: Compiling with newer lazarus

Hi Leif,

for compiling Lazarus and CQRLOG is very important fpc compiler version. I use fpc-2.04 because I have had some problems with version 2.2.x. There was a bug which cause acces violation if your program using threads. Because of this, I have downgraded to version 2.0.4.
I downloaded UIB componets source code from svn repository a few months ago. I can add entire package with components sources to svn repository.
