RBN-Monitor settings, bug and wishlist

Hi,

in the settings of the RBN monitor, under "Bands", "All", the 60m band is missing. I can't determine if the 60m band is processed in the software at the moment.

An "autoconnect" of the RBN monitor and an addition "Callsign alert" would also be good.

Because of the large empty space in the "New QSO" window, the arrangement of the windows is difficult when using the RBN monitor. Why a contest area in the "New-QSO" window, if there is already a separate window for this.

It might be an idea to replace the "New QSO" window for normal and contest operation completely. Then one could also enlarge the upper area with the last QSO's for the normal user.

HI!

60m addition: Good point! Now you have to add it manually, it does not appear from "All"- button

If you compile from latest source look at preferences/RBNconnect . Autoconnect there is for both monitor and graylineRBN.

NewQSO windows should be sized when contest window is closed. Do not maximize NewQSO window! Then it is in nice size. (see png)
Contest columns for new qso are only for editing qso if you note 2ms later when pressed enter to log that you did type something wrong. Then you can get qso in edit mode and fix it in NewQSo window and save again.

Splitting NewQSO to "normal" and "contest" does not give any more space to the upper "worked before"- list. NewQSO must be stretched vertically to get more room because of so many "normal"- used additional item columns.
When you have resized NewQSO horizontally (with contest window closed) then try to stretch it also vertically. Perhaps you need even monitor that can be rotated 90 degrees?

In my 19" horizontal 1440x900 monitor I can see 10 old qsos if max size vertically. But I like to see only 2.

Hi Saku,

thank you for the advice.
The autoconnect of the RBN monitor now works.
