Can not load default MySQL library ("libmysqlclient.so.16" or "libmysqlclient.so").

Error during connection to database: Can not load default MySQL library ("libmysqlclient.so.16" or "libmysqlclient.so"). Check your installation.

if I start QRLOG.
mysql server is running
Ubuntu 18.1

Its more for testing - and learning

sudo apt install mariadb

sudo apt install mariadb-server

MySQL has been replaced by MariaDB, try that.
