DX Cluster - DXCC stats

Hi All,

What is the logic used in DX Cluster? Seems like it displays entities/modes for stations needed for bands and modes I've already worked. When I run DXCC statistics, it matches pretty well with what LoTW has.

I see what's happening now.

I see what's happening now. DX Cluster is indicating entities and modes needed for digital modes that aren't RTTY. I see in the preferences, Band Tab, where RTTY, CW and SSB have frequencies defined for those modes on each band. So, if a spot is for FT8 on one of the bands I've already worked that entity using another digital mode, DX Cluster considers that spot one that I need. Sorry for the noise.

Merry Christmas to all.

Hi!
Yep. It is pretty hard to define the mode of dxcuster spot. Only way is to compare frequency to what is defined in setup. And there the only "digital" definition is rtty.
As long as there is no standard implemented for mode layout of dx spot it is impossible to decide what mode really is in question.

With wsjt cq monitor it is very easy to define dccx status of cq calling station as the call can be compared against all entries of log with true informaton of used mode as it comes from wsjt program.

If same could be done wth dxcuster spots results would be accurate. Now they are not, as you have noticed.

Season greetings!
