New issue - partially related to https://www.cqrlog.com/node/1717.

I am now able to launch CQRLog from a terminal with no issues. The application is able to connect to mysql and load the db and all is well.

However, when I attempt to launch the program from the gnome Activities menu, I receive the same errors that I was receiving in the previous post. The application is unable to find mysqld.

I have verified that the desktop file is executing the same command. The same cqrlog is being run.

So why will it run from the terminal as a normal user but it won't run when launched from a menu shortcut?
