Don't populate the "comment to QSO" field with QRZ.com QSL info for a callsign

I've noticed that the "comment to QSO" field gets populated with strings like this:
"DIRECT SASE OR SAE/IRC/ $1, BUREAU, LOTW, EQSL, QRZ.COM LOGBOOK"
I use the comment to QSO for comments about that particular QSO, such as what we talked about or a contest exchange.
The QSL information pulled from QRZ.com is the same for every QSO with a particular callsign and is a global field used by the holder of the callsign that applies to ALL of the callsigns.  If they did a DXpedition or special call, the QSL info is almost always buried in the biography text.  Given the source of the information, at least from QRZ, I feel that it is really more appropriate to the "comment to callsign" field.
It is sometimes added multiple times -- I suppose if you do a callbook update, the information gets appended to the field regardless if it was present before.  For example from my log:
QSL DIRECT ONLY W/SASE OR SAE+ IRC - NO BUREAU CARDS, QSL DIRECT ONLY W/SASE OR SAE+ IRC - NO BUREAU CARDS
Can the field this information is stored in be changed?
If not, can you tell my why you decided to put this in the comment to QSO field and not the comment to callsign field?

Thanks!

Re: Don't populate the "comment to QSO" field with QRZ.com QSL i

Hi James,

you can disable this feature in Preferences -> New QSO and uncheck "If 'QSL via' field contains other info than a callsign, move to comment to QSO field".

Truth is, this note should be there only once, I'll fix it. Thank you!

I thought it would be better to put this info into Comment to QSO field because sometimes the same callsign gets more people after a few years.

Callsign change owners

Oh of course.  I hadn't considered that callsigns can change owners.
Thank you for pointing out the configuration option.  I had missed that.
I'll see about turning off the string completely, but I do use it.  I try not to send paper QSL cards to people who do not want them.  So I look for the word "direct" or "direct with SASE" in the comment field.  If I see that, or the reverse stating they do not want paper, then I don't have to look people up on QRZ to check the value of "will this ham QSL via mail?" checkbox.
I just wish that information had a different home than the comment to QSL field as I use it to create Cabrillo exports via SQL.  Maybe I'll use the awards field instead.
Anyway, thank you for your work!  I appreciate this software very much!
