Cluster sends spots twice

Hi all,

just noticed that the CQRLOG DXCluster sends out spots typed in by hand twice. CQRLOG version is 2.5.2 (001).
A screenshot of the behaviour can be found here:
https://5tx.de/dev/null/clx_bug.png

Other hams reported to me, that the spots really appeared two times in their local DX cluster.

Hi !
Thanks for reporting!
I will check that, never used completely manual input. It should not differ from log generated, but who knows (before check).

Could you please tell what its the date at "QSO list" bottom left corner. That tells what compile of 2.5.2(001) is.

Hi Saku,

Hi Saku,

date from QSO list window is 2021-02-12.

I've never used the feature to send spots automatically from CQRLOG so far. This feature is new to me. Any hints how to do that?

Hi Saku,

Hi Saku,

you don't have to look into that problem anymore! I just noticed, that the problem is the DB0SUE cluster. Spots are send out twice by THEM and not by CQRLOG. I just double checked it with another telnet program.

Sorry for false alarm! Will take the HamQTH cluster from now on ...

HI Ulf!

Ok, about cluster problem. Yes that sounded weird as it is same if you type info or get it automated from cqrlog.
Automated means to get texts automated, not typed by yourself. You still have to press OK to send the spot.

I think you do it allready this way, but anyway:
When you have callsign in New QSO and frequency+mode from rig you can press Ctrl+W to send a spot (you must be connected to DXCluster via cqlog's DXCluster window).

If you are wise you work and log your qso first and then do the spot. If your NewQSO is empty and you press Ctrl+W the callsign+freq+mode for spot is taken from your last logged qso. Be aware that if you have not logged any qso for some days Ctrl+W will still assign spot from the last logged qso even it was 10 years old.

Look at NewQSO/Help/Help index/Operation/DXCuster operation for more info.
