Icom 7300 and CQRLOG

Is there anyone who did fixed the connection between the ICOM IC-7300 and the great CQRLOG software?
I work with ubuntu 16.04 and tried everything. There is sofware which knows the radio (FLRIG) but thatś for me the only one.
Only FLRIG is not known with cqrlog.

Any tips would be nice!! :)

Please help for fixing CQRLOG and IC-7300 connection

I checked various forum and website but could not find the solution.
I'm using Ubuntu18.04.1LTS and set up CQRLOG. Log itself is working fine.
But, it can't connect to the rig.
The following is the debug screen.
All serial parameters are set as "Default".
Major Rig setting is as follows.
USB SEND: RTS
USB Keying(CW): DTS
USB Keying(RTTY):DTS

CI-V Baud rate: Auto
CI-V Address: 94h
CI-V Tranceive: OFF
CI-V USB Port: Connected to REMOTE

Please help me for further action.
Thank you

Ken JM1NCA/VU3OTK

Also make sure your user in Linux has access to the modem group, so it can access the USB (RS-232 virtual modem port).

Good luck,

Bas.

Still not working

Dear Bas

Thank you for your swift guidance.
I changed my setting same as yours and set modem-group.
But, it's the same and it's still shows as follows.

Starting RigCtld ...
/usr/bin/rigctld -m 373 -r /dev/ttyUSB0 -t 4531 -s 19200
rig_open: error = IO error
rigctld failed to start!

Serial port is also working correctly.

I got stuck again...

Dear Bas
I had to reboot Linux.

Thank you very much!

Re: It works!

Hi Ken,

there is no need to reboot, just log out and log in again :).
