Using TXOffset / RXOffset?

Hi all,

in the frequency tables there is an option to add RX and TX offset. Is there anyone using this possibility?

My idea is to use it for Transverters. I thought it was going to work like this, that in the NewQSO window if yo enter a (uW)band like 5.7GHz the that is would will be saved in the log and shown in the QSO window. But the frequency sent to the rig would be the IF frequency based on the TX / RX offset for that band.

Is there anyone using it? Does someone have some clues how to set it up???

Many Thanks in Advance!

Using TXOffset / RXOffset?

Hi!
Never used it (except when testing) but you will find a brief explanation from Help/Operation/NewQSO(online logging)

Hi,

Hi,

thanks for the hint! That one I have missed. There is however another table for offset which is more appropriate in my case as I automatically want the right display and rig setting when I select the band in question. (This is how WSJT-X handles the offset.) The table I have in mind is found at:

File / Preferences / Bands / Frequencies

In the table there are columns with RX offset / TX offset which I thought was going to be used like in WSJT-X. :(
