CQRLOG - bugs

hamlib rigctld/cqrlog appears to be broken on 64-bit

I was using Fedora 14 32-bit (hamlib from repo) with cqrlog_1.2.2_i386 and had succeeded in getting rig control to work via rigctld. Hurrah!

I recently upgraded to Fedora 16 64-bit and with cqrlog_1.2.2_amd64 it no longer works, with identical settings.

With rigctld running I can do "nc localhost 4532", type f and I get the rig frequency OK. On the face of it this says there's nothing wrong with hamlib and its TCP socket.

Running cqrlog from the terminal and clicking "Refresh TRX control" I get:

In inicializerig
Model:2
Port:localhost:4532
Baudrate:4800
Databits:8
StopBits:1

Possible bug with qslr field plus eqsl download

I have received and sent a lotw qsl which show the date in lotw_qslrdate and in lote_qslsdate but there is no "L" in the qslr field. It seems to have happened only for qso's after 1st jan 2012 but that may be due to my downloading via carlog rather than importing the adif from dxkeeper as I was doing.

2nd bug is after downloading from eqsl.cc I do not get any fields updated. Inspecting the 2012-01-28_11-21-52.adi file from my latest download shows some qso's which do not update in CQRLOG. Perhaps I need another step to import from the .adi file and I am simply just not doing it correctly.

Apparamor

I have installed v1.3 and when I start it, i get this message. How do I work around this? I have run the script, like it asks me to, still nothing.

"It looks like apparmor is running in your system. CQRLOG needs to add this :
@{HOME}/.config/cqrlog/database/** rwk,
into /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld

You can do that by running /usr/share/cqrlog/cqrlog-apparmor-fix or you can add the line and restart apparmor manually.

Click OK to continue (program may not work correctly) or Cancel and modify the file first."

Callsign Database Format Returned?

Hello,

I have been meaning to ask about this for the past 6-9 months and am now wondering if this only bothers me: When USA and Canadian callsign information is returned from either hamqth or qrz, the City and St/Prov are separated by the zip code. I wonder if this keeps the city and state from being automatically filled in the QTH field in CQRLog. Only the city is automatically entered. Can the returned format be changed back to "City, State, zip code" instead of "City, zip code, State"? Also, can any other data be returned like "Lookup count" and possibly license class?

Export for Label Printing - file always empty

Hello,

Currently I'm testing cqrlog.

I've a problem when I export QSOs for label printing.

I go to the QSO list (pressing Strg+O), then
Menu QSO -> Export for Label Printing (ignoring the message, that there is no filter).

In the export window I check 'Export all QSOs' and klick the export button.

The the created file is empty (filesize = 0).

Currently I've 10 QSOs in the list (I'm testing)
I've downloaded different older versions, all are producing an empty file.

Lost qso in "qso list"

Hi,

I have one problems, (maybe no bug?)

today I watched "qso list" and my last entry there is 2011-12-04, but if I make new qso, that "qso in log" number will growing, but still that last day is same. If I looking for qso, I can find it.

I use different computer in my station, and there is same problem.
I import my qso's, but then in my log is double qso. And still last day is same.

Then I clear my log and import again, same thing again, but now I make again all my settings again.

I have Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.

Any idea how I will fix it?

TQSL Error

Hi Peter,

I am not sure is this bug on CQRLOG or on TQSL SW. However when I tried to upload to LoTW some QSO's I had made with my previous version of CQR log (32-bit) Now running 1.2.1 (64bit).

I have 2 logs in my system: log001 and DL3JW. In log 001 I have strange dates on LoTW QSL S date due to invalid certificate. Certificate is now new and in DL3JW log I have got those dates correct.
