Hi.
Lazarus 3.x changes calendar nullday and older versions of cqrlog put date 9999-01-01 to search if from and to dates are empty.
Because of that all searches fail if those are left empty.

Putting from as 1900-01-01 and 2100-12-31 as to make same effect to search as leaving from and to dates empty. You do not have to care about them if you do not need date limits to filtering.

Assume you have not had qsos before 1900 and will not have any qsos after 2100. Then all your qsos fit between those dates that is the same as setting no date limits.

I understand your meaning.
But my lazarus is 2.2.
I often use from "2024-01-01", "2017-07-01" and so on.
So I came back to 2024-03-14 version,
and newer functions are not needed for me, I suppose.

Now I have an another problem, it will upload later.
Thank you de JE8VZK Waka

So you have to change "from" anyway, eh?
Have you noticed that you can set "remember filter" once you have set suitable "from", or even save filter and then load when needed.

I am not sure, but I can test, if I can set dateEdits as empty (DateEdit.Text) while its value still is 1900 or 2100 (DateEdit.Date).
That would be fully cosmetic.
You just do not see the dates, and have to make same job when setting them as change of ____-__-__ is same job as change of 1900-01-01

I have to study the DateEdit a bit more.

For example, when i upload to LOTW, I clicked calendar, next double-click the previous day an OK. Our morning begins night hour in UTC. This is the fastest methiod, I suppose.
My Log0001 contains some entries not yet uploaded (to say exactly, I worked as portable station as JE8VZK/8. These must be provided as Log0002 maybe. Near 30 QTH.).

Seartching in synaptic, "fpc-source-3.2.2" is installed in my Ubuntu.Maybe root of my trouble.

Hi Waka San!

Please try now the latest 2024-03-24 version.
I fixed the initial filter look back to previous and also changed default date limits between 1900-01-01 --- current date.
Calendar speed buttons (from and to) defaults to current date when pressed.

This version runs ok when compiled with Lazarus 3.x, or older Lazarus versions (tested with 3.2 and 2.6).

Uploading to LoTW I always use "Export only qsos which have never been uploaded". No hassle with dates and filter.

If there are earlier qsos that you do not want never upload to LoTW just select them with filter and then use qso list/group edit and set "LoTW QSL sent" as "Y".
After that you can use "Export only qsos which have never been uploaded" and it hits just your new qsos.

So even if I don't send it, it's still considered sent. - That maybe good idea.

Thank you for the corrections, Saku, kiitoksia paljon!
