New "Official" release of CQRLog - when?

This is NOT meant to be a flame.

The last "Official" release of CQRLog is ver. 2.5.2 and is now over 3 years old. There are updates via GitHub, but if I was new potential user, I would probably only install the "official" release which is quite old now. In fact, if I didn't know any better and was a noob, I would just think, CQRLog is a dead program since it's last release date is SO old.

I understand that this is a non-commercial product and is maintained strictly by volunteers, but I think for the common good, a new "official" install package release should be released. Perhaps call it, Ver. 2.7.0? If I had the programming ability and technical know-how, I would consider making it myself, but sadly, I don't. I know it's easy for me to say this, but in reality, it's quite a bit of work to make it happen. I truly appreciate everyone's hard work and effort at maintaining this wonderful program.

I love this program and use it almost daily. Sorry for the bandwidth. No flame intended.

New "Official" release of CQRLog - when?

Hi Bob!
That is not my job to answer to that but I agree with you.
Without official release the installation packets of different linuxes are not updated.
That is sad. Specially because Ubuntu branch packets are all broken installing mysql instead of Mariadb.

At the moment current official source in GitHub is at same state as my Alpha 2.6.0(119). Unfortunately that is also outdated as now my Alpha ready compiled ones are (124) and source is a bit ahead (125) having again lot of fixes and improvements since (119).

I am just one user with others and do not have any better knowledge of future plans of Cqrlog and this Forum
.

As far as i understand team Cqrlog is Petr and Martin. You need to get answers from them. Perhaps private mail is better way to try to get connect.
