I installed the MariaDb. All good now.
Just install CQRLOG. Upon running CQRLOG for the first time get this message: MySQL could not be started.
Log file shown below. Please assist.

The package install of Cqrog installs mysql that is wrong. Ubuntu maintainer fault.
In your log it shows out as (mysqld 8.0.36-0ubuntu0.22.04.1)
You should install MariaDB over the mysql to get Cqrlog started.
