MySql database.

Thanks for the opportunity.
One question, if possible.
I would have the ability to use a remote mysql server through odbc to use the log even if they are outside the home, the problem is that my service provider change automatically the name of the database by adding a suffix that can not be eliminated (eg: if the database is IZ4WNP calls automatically is renamed xyzcvbfg_IZ4WNP).
My question was this, if is possible to create the database by giving it a any name you like instead of doing so create a fixed name?
It would be interesting to create the database with any name you like.
Thanks in advance for the eventual response.

Re: Thank you so much for the

Giuliano,

CQRLOG needs at least two database. One is common database with tables with common data like DXCC list, QSL managers, IOTA etc. It also includes info about  another log database. It much easier to have small home server with database and use VPN to connect to it from various locations.

I was thinking about moving all tables into one database. All logs will have it's own tables in one database. It would help people who can have only one database to connect to it. I'll consider it again, maybe to version 2.0? I don't know. I know about at least one problem -> upgrade from currect structure to another one. I'm not sure if it worth for it.
