cqrlog was connecting to my TS570d then quit

Aloha,

I'm new to linux at this level but have read a lot of posts on this forum. I had the frequency showing from my TS-570d ....
Everything was working then came home to a re-booted computer and now it doesn't work. not sure where to look. Not sure where to go from here....Jim NH6HI

Ran cqrlog > log_output.txtand got the following:

nh6hi@nh6hi-Inspiron-530s:~$ cqrlog > log_output.txt

(cqrlog:3033): GLib-CRITICAL **: Source ID 11 was not found when attempting to remove it

(cqrlog:3033): GLib-CRITICAL **: Source ID 10 was not found when attempting to remove it

(cqrlog:3033): GLib-CRITICAL **: Source ID 43 was not found when attempting to remove it

(cqrlog:3033): GLib-CRITICAL **: Source ID 42 was not found when attempting to remove it

(cqrlog:3033): GLib-CRITICAL **: Source ID 48 was not found when attempting to remove it

(cqrlog:3033): GLib-CRITICAL **: Source ID 47 was not found when attempting to remove it
nh6hi@nh6hi-Inspiron-530s:~$

Re: cqrlog was connecting to my TS570d then quit

Hi Jim,
open the console and try this:
rigctl -m 204 -r /dev/ttyS4 -s 9600 --set-conf=rts_state=ON

rigctl should start, write f and hit enter. Did it read the freq correctly?

If you use rigctl -m 204 -r /dev/ttyS4 -s 9600 --set-conf=rts_state=ON -vvvvv
you'll get more info.

Wow! That worked like a charm! Here's the result and CQRLOG seems to be back to normal. A BIG MAHALO! Getting a real education in linux here... Again, Mahalo Petr
