Characters print twice after update **Solved**

I updated cqrlog to 1.7.4 yesterday and I also updated lubuntu from 13.10 to 14.04. When I enter data in cqrlog each character prints twice. It only happens in cqrlog and not in any other program.

Hello,

Hello,
i have the same problem after upgrading to Kubuntu 14.04 here. The settings described I do not find.
In the system tray there is a new icon for IBus settings for the keyboard. However, it is not clear to me what you would have to change here.

So the software is currently not usable.

Does anyone have a solution to the behavior for Kubuntu 14.04?

Re: Hello,

Hi Wolfgang,

I have Kubuntu 14.04 here and don't have any problem.  Please do rigcht click to Callsign field, choose Imput methods (is the second item from the bottom) and choose Simple (it's third item from the TOP). I'm sorry, I'm not sure what the title is, I have it in Czech.

Characters print twice after update **Solved**

Hi,
i have set the input method to 'none' with the software "im-config". Now entering into cqrlog works.'cjkv' in "im-config" works also.

So i found a different config file in "etc/default"

Kubuntu 14.04: "etc/default/im-config"
# Deault im-config mode (see im-config(8)) # Always start best input method IM_CONFIG_DEFAULT_MODE=auto # Start best input method only if CJKV environment #IM_CONFIG_DEFAULT_MODE=cjkv # Trace commands for debug # (This may cause problem configuration file generated under console mode) #IM_CONFIG_SETMODE="-x"

Kubuntu 13.10: "etc/default/im-config"
# Deault im-config mode (see im-config(8)) if [ $XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP -a $XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP = "Unity" ]; then     # Always start best input method     IM_CONFIG_DEFAULT_MODE=auto else     # Start best input method only if CJKV environment     IM_CONFIG_DEFAULT_MODE=cjkv fi # Trace commands for debug # (This may cause problem configuration file generated under console mode) #IM_CONFIG_SETMODE="-x"

If i use the configuration file from Kubuntu 13.10, the Problem is solved.
