TRX Control stopped working

Hi all after updating to 0.9.0 my rig control has stopped working. I think I have had this problem before after an upgrade.
I am using the Following.
Ubuntu 9.10
Hamlib from repository
Icom IC-7000
a Cat control cable via serial port.

This setup works fine with fldigi and worked fine with previous version of CQRLOG.

Hi Graham,

could you enable debug mode, run program from console and paste what it writes down? Thank you.

Debug mode

Hi Graham,

find cqrlog.cfg, it is in the log_data subfolder. Put a line

Debug=1

into [Program] section. If there is already a line with Debug=0, change it to Debug=1.

Start the logger from the console (./cqrlog) or redirect the output to a text file

./cqrlog > err.txt

and provide us with the resulting file err.txt.

RE: Debug mode

Hi Graham,

as I can remember I've made changes only in RTS, DTR, StopBits and DataBits setting. So please check port parametters.

RE: Debug mode

Hi Petr I now think it is a hamlib problem after upgrading to ubuntu 9.10 hamlib rigctl does not work however the rpc.rig does but cqrlog does not work with the daemon. I found that I have been using the rig xml option in fldigi and that works fine but not hamlib so it a case of waiting for a new version of hamlib..
